Q: Is this product suitable for a bandsaw cutting steel pipe and rod?

Yes it is, I've used it and bought more. I cut aluminum, carbon & stainless steel on my bandsaw, (pipe, plate, angle, etc)

6:1 (water:cutting fluid) is a commonly used mix ratio. It can be mixed up to 10:1 according to the manufacturer

Q: Can this be used in a mist or droplet system with airsystem?

I am not certain about your mist system. If you are cutting steel, I do not see why it would not work with the proper mixture as recommended. J.D.
