Excellent product and I am picky. Almost no smell at all and non-irritating. I used 9N and it beautifully covered my silver “sparkles” and blended well with t he rest of my color. Slightly lightened it. There are some slightly warm areas in virgin regrowth (was dark blonde/light brown) which is typical when I process my hair, but much less than normal, and I can tone it separately.I am a doctor and LOVE the safe profile of this product along with it being CRUELTY FREE and VEGAN. 💖 Thanks!

Best hair dye I've used so far, covers all of my stubborn grays and makes them look like highlights!I love the non-carconogenic formula, and the gentle formula doesn't dry my hair out. The conditioner it comes with also works really well and my hair has stayed soft, even with heat styling!My hair is noticeably healthier after using this, I dyed my hair a couple times now just to write an accurate review. I love the color I chose and the color does not fade!

Herbatint has been my favorite hair dye for many many years. I had painful reactions to chemical hair dyes that salons used so I started using herbatint 5N Light Chestnut that was almost exactly my natural hair color, except it had a slight reddish tint to it in the sun that I did not like. After using light chestnut for many years I switched to a lighter color my mixing 1/4 bottle Ashe Blonde 7C with 1/4 bottle Blonde 7N and 1/2 bottle developer. This was the perfect amount to apply for a maintenance root coloring to cover any gray hair every 6 weeks or so. Using this mixture eliminated any brassiness also, it was perfect! Until they changed the packaging…it is a huge downgrade.The old bottles were semi transparent so the liquid line was visible in both the developer and haircolor bottles, and there were clear measurement markings down the bottle so I could easily pour out and mix the correct amounts. The new bottles are opaque so you can no longer see any liquid line, and they have eliminated the measurement markings! I had to guess the amounts I was pouring into my mixing bowl, I ended up not having enough to finish my hair this time (which has never happened) and the color is off because my measurement amounts were off! Other than these definite downgrades with the new packaging, the new box is shorter (inconsequential), I personally think the font and box design is a downgrade as well. Other than the terrible new packaging, this is still the best natural hair dye out there, it’s easy on the scalp and the color really lasts, please correct these new packaging flaws, this is a truly outstanding product. I will definitely continue using it, only now I will have to figure out using a scale, but this is not baking, ugh! I really appreciated the user friendliness of the old packaging!

I used this to tone my hair after a slightly patchy bleach job, and it really helped! Herbatint 8C gave me a soft, natural-looking ash blonde and toned down the orange/brass without over-darkening the lighter strands. It’s way more forgiving than most box dyes — no harsh smell, and didn’t irritate my scalp at all.Application was straightforward, and the results looked even and blended (see photo, the top part, I bleached and dyed my hair one too many times). If you’re trying to soften brassiness or refresh a light blonde without damage, this is a solid pick.

Excellent permanent hair color !! This hair color makes your hair look a natural shade of brown, doesn't dry out your hair like other home dyes, and the conditioner is awesome - makes your hair feel silky smooth. My hair is medium brown and I use the dark blonde and color is perfect. I have used this hair color brand for three years now and just love it. Especially since it is Vegan and Cruelty-free. Their shampoos and conditioners are great also! Highly recommend.
