Okay, so I'm quite an health enthusiastic and want to try all the possible ways to improve my overall health and longevity. At first I was REALLY sceptic about grounding, but wanted to give it a try since the cost is quite low and the possible health-related benefits were great (at least according to the marketing..) I work as a fireman and we are allowed to sleep at night in the firestation, in case there are no emergencies. I ordered this Grounding Mat and tried it at work during the night. I had super vivid dreams all night long, my HRV went up (which indicates better recovery for the nervous system) and more deep sleep, according to my Smart watch. Anyway, I thought the dreaming part was only in my head, but the dreams continued for the first two weeks. Then I took the mat at home and put it in our bed. My wife asked me what the hell you are now doing, but I just told her (gently) to shut up and go to sleep. :D After two weeks she asked again what the hell you just did because She had had super vivid dreams all night every night ever since I put the grounding mat to our bed! Then I was pretty sure this isn't just a thing in my head and not placebo. I gifted one mat to a colleague of mine and didn't tell him anything about it, just told him to sleep on it. After a week or so he also asked me the "What the hell" -question about the dreams! :D I discussed about this dreaming part with one of my "biohacker" friends, and he told me that REM sleep is the part of the sleep where the brain arranges all he information that it had absorbed during the day. He told me that like you arrange files and folders in your laptop, the brain does the same. In case you are REM sleep-deprived, the brain has no time to complete this process and it causes mess. When grounded, the amount of REM sleep increases and your brain has more time to do this process and it causes the dreaming effect. It kind of made sense to me since we have three kids, all under 6-years old and we have been sleep-deprived for 5 years or so! My curiosity increased towards grounding and I found out that there are over 20 peer-reviewed studies in Pubmed when it comes to the benefits of grounding. And when I thought about grounding, it makes perfect sense to connect to the mother Earth, just like our ancestors have connected for millions of years. I kind of like this evolutionary standpoint on every aspect when it comes to health; we should do things in a same way as our ancestors did. Or at least I don't know any person who is sick or fat, if she/he eats only meat, fish, eggs, vegetables, berries, fruit, etc.. :) After I got excited about grounding I ordered many mats from different brands. So far Earthvera has been the best because it is thicker than the others and it comes with the multimeter. I love the multimeter because with that, I can ensure that the mat itself is conductive (no worries, super clear instructions are included in the manual!) and I can see my body voltage drop when I ground myself. Some of the other brands mat's were not conductive and they were also more flimsy. NOTE: The battery compartment was a little tight fit, but at least Varta 9V battery fit in nicely. I found out that some (cheaper) 9V batteries are actually larger than others, which might cause trouble for some people. For some reason, I feel more relaxed when I ground myself. It's like drinking a glass of wine. And in the beginning there was also little tingling in my feet which was interesting! I'm in good health overall but I can Still feel better recovery and less joint pain/aches after intensive exercise. And my sleep has definitely improved! Sorry about this long text but I thought that Grounding and EarthVera deserved it! I will definitely walk more barefoot and use Grounding Mats in the Office and bed!

I'm exceptionally pleased with the mat -- especially getting the multi-meter included at no extra cost! I'm an old retiree that spends too much time on the stock market -- at my computer much of day. Guess what's under my keyboard and also functions as a mousepad -- the Earthvera grounding mat!!!. Hands (wrist from the keyboard and mouse action) make a good connection to the pad. It is comfortable and a lot better than the desktop by itself. So I don't need to sit bare-footed but get grounded just doing my daily activity! So far, I know my fatigue is reduced and am looking foreward to seeing the long-term effects!

The mat seems to be pretty good. Nice material. I was able to test with another multimeter to prove it's function. The multimeter that came with it is garbage. It seemed to work when I first turned it on, then there was a squealing noised and stopped working.

I use this mat at home while resting or standing at work, and I find it very comfortable. The material feels high quality and it’s easy to connect. I like adding it to my daily routine because it’s practical and doesn’t take up much space.

I've been using this grounding mat for a while now and it works very well. durability is good. easy to use. its very comfortable and easy to set up and feels really good. overall I'm impressed with this grounding mat. and it is value for money as well. totally worth it. Suggested!!

Ordered once and returned it for this reason: The included multimeter was suppose to take a 9-Volt battery, but the place for it was too small for one to be inserted. The instructions said to do certain things to test the Mat, but when I did them, it failed the test. I returned them both. I wanted the mat size so ordered again. Same problems. The multimeter is junk. The instructions do not work (two different sets of instructions (one on box lid) that conflicted with each other. I tested the mat with other testers and it came out as working, so will keep the mat.

Smooth and comfortable mat
