It is what it says it is. I measured one strand of wire to be about .24mm to .27mm, depends on how much pressure I put on my digital calipers, I did not use a micrometer. The insulation did not melt up to 300 degrees F. I tinned about 3/4 inch of wire using some radio shack 60/40 with my iron set at 400 degrees F, and the insulation got soft but did not melt. Flexibility is better than solid, but it will hold a bend. I bent a length 180 degrees around a 1/2 inch diameter marker cap. I released it, and it went to a 120 degree angle from the 180. If you want a 90 degree bend, you have to over bend if past the desired 90 degrees. I gave it a five for being honest.

I ordered a 200 ft roll. While installing it, I spooled out about 100 ft to find it ended. There was a separation plastic wrap and then another 100 ft. Due to time limitation, I had to splice the wire and continue. Not good.

It's as described, good 20AWG zip cord. Mine didn't unzip as cleanly as some other reviews, there was some black on the red, but that's the same as every other wire I've had. The insulation isn't _too_ thick but is on the thick side, and it's 80C not 120C so it'll melt a bit if you use heatshrink. For the price, though, it's great.

I'm pretty picky about my wire, and usually use a certain brand but they were out of stock in 20 ga so I gave this a shot and was very pleased.It is true 20ga wire core not just a couple strands with a bunch of sheath.It bends well, strips easy and can be split down the middle to make red and black primary wire instead of speaker wire.

Excellent product; it is copper; strips cleanly if you use the 18gauge slot on your stripper; red is easily peeled apart from black with no damage; insulation is adequate; much better than some other stuff I bought that was advertised as silicone and copper which turned out to not be copper.

Exactly as described. The wire strips cleanly and the copper is bright and clean. The two conductors separate cleanly and does not leave color striping on the insulation. This is my first purchase with GS Power but will certainly not be my last.Great Product, Very Pleased.

I bought this wire after ordering similarly looking cheaper wires from eBay and Amazon. I had to throw them away. There is a lot of "clad" wires coming from China. The core is made of compressed recycled ferrous and non-ferrous metals and covered with a thin (few mkm) layer of copper which comes oxidized black and dissolved when any flux is applied to solder. These wires have a very high electric resistance. I also had aluminum clad wires - they are a bit better but still not usable to make a good connection unless you have a good crimping tool.This wire is a pleasure to work with - it is copper, easily solderable and has low resistance. It has 10 strands, 0.24mm each. The jacket quality is also good. One small disadvantage is the stands diameter - the wire holds its shape when bended. But it is OK for permanent installations. Use silicon cable where more flexibility is needed.

I have applied this wire to a number of 12v low-current setups in my RV with great effect. I am pleased with the price and quality so far. The wire solders well to the 1000 bajillion different connectors that I find in my home, so no complaints at all.
