Aprox 6" wide at top tapering down to about 2" at bottom. This is a thinner pad and very easy to get adjusted to

Q: do these work well when used with boxer underwear?

This is not recommended. Briefs work best.

Q: do these have an adhesive to secure?

Yes this product has adhesive down the middle so it is secure.

Q: Could this pad be worn backwards by a female to cover for mild stool incontenence? My mother had colon cancer surgery and needs light stool coverage
