Hat To SocksChiffon Scarf Sheer Wrap for Women

I bought this scarf in several colors - burgundy, teal, mustard, navy, and black.Maybe the product description was different when other reviewers purchased, but the product description now clearly states the scarf is 59 inches long and 18 inches wide. That's an inch shy of 5 feet in length. I am 5'4" and holding the scarf up in front of me with one edge touching the floor, the scarf hits the middle of my nose. These scarves are true to length. I'm not sure how 5 ft of fabric is too short for a neck scarf....maybe too short for a shawl but that's not what this is advertised as. This scarf is plenty long to do a variety of things with: purse adornment, neck scarf, clothing accent, head wrap.Second I'm not sure why the vendor says not to wash these. They're polyester chiffon, they're washable.I hand washed all of them for this first wash in case there was color bleed. There was a bit, nothing abnormal. I'd worn the navy and burgundy as hair wraps prior to washing, so they had makeup and sweat and oils in them that had been sitting in the fabric for weeks when I washed them. I hand rinsed all of them separately after washing then threw them into dryer on permanent press. They both came out looking brand new, no stains or damage to the fabric or seamed edges. I would recommend that any color besides black or navy be washed on hand. Chiffon captures dye so easily, it doesnt take much fabric bleed to mar the original color.Lastly the tags....a little care in removing and they are not a problem.There's two tags, the short white one and the longer black one with the brand name. The white one is like a stretchy paper material, so it rips easily. Take a pair of small sharp scissors and cut into one side of the tag where the seam holes are. Once you've cut open one seam hole gently pull the scarf (grip close to seam where tags are) and tag in opposite directions, most of the tag will rip away at the seam holes. Once you remove the tag take the point of your scissors or a needle and pick out the remaining tag material under the seam. Seam will stay intact and white tag will be gone.The black tag is actual fabric so you have to cut it off all the way across just under the seam line, easy to do with small scissors. The fabric that remains stuck in the seam is barely visible up close, the tag is so narrow, so I don't think it's necessary to pull out remaining tag fabric under seam. But if you want to you can use the same method as the white tag.I bought these only to use as hair wraps, they give exactly the type of final look I expected. All the colors are vibrant and true to shades pictured here.These are well worth the money and will last you a long time if you care for them properly.

This is exactly what I’ve been looking for. It’s sheer, lightweight and can be worn during any weather. I’ve been looking for a 50’s style head wrap that wasn’t going to be bulky or over heating and this is just it! It’s long enough to also be worn around my waist as a belt. If you’re looking for a scarf for warmth purposes this isn’t for you. If you’re looking for a product for style purposes this is IT. Would definitely recommend if looking for a head scarf.

The scarf is the perfect size and texture. BUT why can't scarf makers put their labels where it crosses the neck? I am going to wear a scarf with a white and black attached tags. Tried to cut as close to the scarf as possible and still that white little strip will be seen under the dark blue. I think I cut the scarf stitches while trying to remove those annoying tags.

Don't hesitate--this is a very nice scarf. Purchased black 12-2021. The scarf I received is not vibrant, intense, bright black, but more of a smoky black. VERY light weight and sheer, but sturdy. You can see the table grain through the scarf in photo. Lovely drape. Yet scarf is large enough to gather for warmth and opacity around neck without bulk. Good size for neck scarf--it won't swallow up a short person as pashminas and blanket scarves can.Not all polyester is equal. Some is awful, and some is quite nice, as this is. Very soft and smooth against the skin; not irritating. I have had scarves of this type before and do not expect this to pill, run or pull. It is rather slippery--its biggest disadvantage--and will not grab onto your other clothes, meaning it has a mind of its own and doesn't necessarily stay where you put it. If looped around your neck, it can gradually get tighter as the day goes on. You could use a pin to hold in place.Scarf arrives in a tiny plastic bag that fits in your palm. Great for travel! It is quite creased as you see in photo, which was after being washed. I shook it open, put it in a zippered laundry bag and tossed it in the regular wash. I personally don't think water temp or cycle will affect it much. I doubt it bled--poly often doesn't. I did not put it in the dryer, but hung on a rack to dry, which it did quickly. I set the iron to polyester setting (med.) and the creases ironed out quickly and easily. (A bit of steam helps.) This does not seem to be a fussy fabric at all.Tag says 100% polyester, made in Korea. As some reviewers have said, it's too bad they attach the tag with the hem stitch, but no doubt it makes the most sense for the manufacturer. You CAN remove it, but you have to be extraordinarily careful not to even touch the stitching, or you can easily clip a stitch and then you have to mend it when you're done, which never looks as nice as the original! (How do I know this?...) Use very small, sharp, pointed scissors, but proceed with extreme caution. You can get thru a tiny bit of tag at a time and eventually tease it out of the hem, but it will take a while!

This chiffon scarf was purchased for my daughter's choir concert at school. She needed a white scarf that was on the dressy side. I searched a few local places but no one was carrying like this. Decided to come on Amazon to see what was available. Found this one, and found the price pretty amazing. I was expecting to pay a lot more for something like this. The fabric is beautiful. It's thin, lightweight, and a pretty white color. I also liked that it was simple and can go with anything, dress up anything.

I've been looking for a red scarf forever!Most of the ones I've seen have not been a "true" red, but this one is!It's long (about 56"), but lightweight ... perfect to place under lapels of a blazer orjacket to add color or a bit of drama.And the price!!!! Perfect! I'm going to order one in every color!BTW - Much to my delight, it arrived the next day, instead of 2 days later.Great seller! Would highly recommend!

Lovely true scarlet red colour.Lightweight and very silky feeling to the scarf. Exactly as described and just the right length.My only quibble is with the label - white and stuff and sticks out like a sore thumb! Why labels like this are sewn into fine fabrics is beyond me. It only have the country of origin, not even washing advice.And the packaging from Amazon was ridiculous - a box over 2 feet in length, six inches deep and wide!!! The scarf was small enough too go in a poly bag and through the letterbox. Please reconsider your packaging Amazon.Was thinking of buying different colours as the quality is good but reluctant due to the excessive packaging.

I bought this for my bridesmaid to match a colour with a slightly different one I bought. The colour match is really good (both purple and true to a sheer matt Cadbury purple).I haven't had a chance to try it on her yet but it should be perfect as she is a tall ten-year-old. Glad I didn't buy it for myself as I fear it might have been too short in length for me to be able to tie it behind my back. Although if purchasing to wear as shown in the picture it would have been fine.Would recommend it to anyone -the only reason it didn't get five stars is due to the length and number of creases which I hope will fall out or that someone can lend me a steamer/iron.

I'm very pleased with this scarf, it is a lovely dark, true, navy colour, which I think another reviewer also commented on. Only thing which annoyed me was the label. As usual, with these fine scarves, the stitching where the label is has to be cut, otherwise it leaves a 'line' of label attached to the scarf if you have just trimmed it, right where everyone can see it. This is normal with this type of scarf, so I am happy to give it 5 stars in spite of this. I was also very pleased with the speed of delivery. I would definitely buy from this company again.

I bought two of these silky chiffon scarves, navy and grey, they are both excellent, I have found it very hard to buy just plain coloured scarves in shops so was delighted to find a huge choice on your website and at a very reasonable price. The material is lovely and soft to the touch, so useful for wearing with lower necked jumpers etc.,I have one on as I write, looks good am a very pleased customer, and will definitely go back for more. Oh and they arrived very quickly.
