Well engineered tool
Got 68mm hole saw to fit soffit vents in hollow soffit board. It was a nightmare to start with as it wanted to rip rather than cut. So what I done was just drill the pilot bit into plastic and then put drill into reverse and it cuts quickly and cleanly. As soon as you hold this bit in your hand you can feel it is a solid weighty tool that's well engineered.i can only review for plastic but I had the job done in no time once I had sussed out putting it into reverse.

Great price for what it does
Awesome tool I bought the 102mm version and it went straight through hardie board and timber. I needs a bit getting used to as it can grip fast into the material but for 1/3rd the price of other simular items this deserves 5 stars not sure how it will perform time and time again as I only needed one hole.

Kept its edge well
Cut 4 mild steel holes of 76mm diameter and kept its edge until the 3rd hole so cannot complain. The tpi is fairly distant so it snags very easily so care is needed if hand drilling so 1 star removed.

Great
Value for money ,cutting accuracy.

poor
these are probably ok on tin or aluminium plastics and wood but cold rolled mild steel no good, blunt with in less than five minutes, even on low speed setting and using even pressure plus using flood coolant, i can see why only £12 but even that is a waste of money, save up your money's and buy rotabroache's instead, and instruction in German

Good tungsten cutter for steel
Good. I was sceptical but thought worth a try for a specific job. I wanted to cut a hole in some 15mm mild steel plate. At 48mm diameter the belts on the drill needed to be nipped up, 240rpn about. Kept reasonable pressure on and down it went. What was important, plenty of coolant and lift frequently to flush out swarf. If you don't supply enough pressure it will start to skate and feels like it's blunt, then you have to give it a shove to get it cutting again. The Allen key supplied is a bit soft, be gentle or swap out for better. I will certainly buy more if the need arises.

Hole cutter
Good little cutter. I bought to cut some holes in a stainless steel barrel so I can use the barrel as a burner. I drilled a pilot hole with a cobalt bit, then used this cutter. Use the drill on a low speed, and use some cutting fluid, and job’s done. It seems sturdy, and if I need other sizes I would definitely buy this brand.
