No way to change reading from kv to v or to test joule output but reads easily and accurately.

This is your average electric fence tester. It's helpful when needing to check if your fence is consistently hot for the full run and helps narrow down where problem spots are. It's a bit easier to read in full sun than some others tend to be. It seems a bit overpriced for what it is, but it does what it says it does.

We started with a rocky career of electric fences and were slightly shocked by them 2-3 times. This seems like a much safer option than testing it by grabbing it with your hands! For that reason, i am super excited to have this electric fence tester, and this makes a quite convenient gift, i am excited to have a different way to test our fences.
