JORESTECH Light Weight Waterproof Rain Jacket ANSI/ISEA 107-2015 Class 3 Level 2

My jacket arrived just in time for me to stand outside in pouring rain at the Seattle airport. My first concern when I ordered this rain coat was what size I wold buy to fit over the coat I wear to work. The coat I wear is a size large and I ordered a size large Jorestech rain jacket. It arrived and the size was perfect. I am more than happy with the features this high quality rain coat offers. The snap flap over the zipper is one of my requirements for a rain coat. The zipper is two way so I liked unzipping from the bottom up to access the front zipper on my pants without unzipping the whole coat. The coat has a mesh lining and so does the hood. The hood is attached to the collar with snaps and rolls into a pocket on the collar. It can be unsnapped if you don't need it. The front chest pocket fits my Iphone 6S and the two side pockets are large enough for my gloves. It is long enough to cover my hips and seat so the top of my pants stayed dry. I recommenced this jacket if you need a highly visible rain coat for work or walking in the rain. A word about yellow versus orange safety gear. Yellow is more visible in dim or dark conditions than orange.

I got this for my son who works in all kinds of weather on pipeline and he got it just in time.....the week after he got it he was called out for an emergency break and they worked 26 hours in pouring rain and thru the night! He stayed dry which helped him stay warm! It is perfect for his safety too especially at night! He’s 6’ and weighs 265 and it fit perfect for him to wear over his work clothes. He’s thrilled with it!

Great price and product, has adjustable sleeve cuffs and the mesh lining keeps it from clinging to you. South Alabama ..Great warm weather gear wind proof warm down to about 45. The zipper is a bit tricky at times, the part you slide into the two zippers can come out of the bottom after it is zipped up and takes a bit of work to get back in to unzip the last inch or two.but the snaps work just as well... cons if you care to call them that. i would prefer the collar inside to have been black as i work for a road and bridge department and you will get dust and dirt on you. It has a 25 wash useful life like most other rain gear. I bought this in Feb 18 and have used it pretty much everyday, its just starting to show dirt but holding up very well.If you get mud on it rinse it off before it dries and you wont have bad stain ..Just remember it is a work jacket if it aint dirty you and workin.

Just received this in medium along with the matching pants also in medium. I'm 5'9" and these more than swim on me. Going to return them...I laid down the jacket opened up and measured the waist area zipper to zipper = 49". HUGE for a medium that should fit like a 32"-34" waist - mine is 32"..! The sleeves are also way too long and generally oversized - they will drag into everything I reach for which will be messy and will knock over things when reaching for things. Same for the pants - they are like wearing two of those long balloons for the legs. Also have doubts on how safe they are - it is not recommended to have loose clothing while working around machinery. I can see the loose fabric on the legs and arms getting caught by snowblowers, in doors closing, etc...They apparently don't make a small. There are a lot of big people out there but I don't see these products fitting those of us with a normal build. I can also understand the need to make them oversized to fit over winter clothes, but it would need to be extremely heavy winter clothing to warrant this extreme oversizing.Quality and form and function appear to be good otherwise - but they are just WAY TOO BIG for a medium so going with 2-stars.

This Rain Jacket is great, I even purchased a second one to keep in my work vehicle. Its lightweight but if you order a size larger than you normally wear you can wear it over a light to medium weight jacket. The material is lightweight, and it offers great visibility, both day and night. I recently used it at night while shoveling out the end of my driveway during recent snow storms and my wife commented she could see me well from over 200 feet away. The only negative I can think of is depending on what your doing it shows dirt, but It can be laundered if need be.

Works great. I use it for riding a motorcycle. The hood tucks away into a little compartment on the color. Much more sturdy and legit than I thoguht it would be. Not a cheap poncho, a real jacket.

This would be the absolute most perfect raincoat if it had better ventilation. If you need to wear theirs and it is warm outside, 70 degrees or more you are going to sweat in it. It is very comfortable, the right length, sleeves are comfortable, I do feel it runs a little big, which I'm fine with. The hat that is detachable could come a little further to the front. It does not cover any of your face at all, so if there is wind ribbon rain you are going to get wet.

I bought this rain jacket to walk my dog in the rain and still be visible. I walk on country roads and the speed limit is 55 mph. I am always careful but usually when it rains the visibility is a bit less. So, I finally found a jacket that is visible and waterproof. I just wore it on a 90 minute walk in the rain and stayed completely dry. I bought a size up so I can wear it over my winter parka also for wet snow or sleet. I highly recommend.
