I'm a massive tech fan and would love my house to be be a smart house so little things like this I love. Its easy to set up from putting it in to connecting it to your phone. On the app there so many different colours, there's preset themes which are all really good and my absolute favourite thing is that theres a rythem sensor so you can put a song on and the light bulb dances along to it with its colours which I found really cool :)

Great bulb for controlling via Alexa. Instructions confirm it requires 2.4GHz and that it may be able to handle dual-band routers. Ours is a relatively new dual-band router (12months) and eventually we had to disable the 5Ghz in order for the bulb to connect - but from then on it was plain sailing and it now works fine in a 2.4/5GHz network. Great colour.

Couldn't connect my bulb due to the fact my Wi-Fi is 5ghz and the bulbs need 2.4ghz or somthing blah blah blah, technobabble. I should of checked before spending 40 mins cursing the gods of technology and almost destroying my entire selection of devices. I'll just have to suffer the inconvenience of using my finger to turn of the light

This is my third manufacturer of smart bulbs I’ve used, so means downloading yet another app.It’s simple enough and only took a couple of minutes.Anyone familiar with smart bulbs knows the procedure and you just follow the instructions in the app.After successfully installing the bulb, simply ask Alexa to discover new devices and you’re done!Luminan claim the bulbs last for an impressive 45.7 years!So although the initial price puts a lot of people off, you can’t argue that they’re not value for money.The brightness of mine is a maximum of 800 lumens or 60 watts so perfect for most areas of a home.There’s a variety of colours to choose from and the brightness of each is fully adjustable from 1% to 100%.Overall I’d definitely recommend these.

Great light. At first it wouldn’t connect when trying to set it up directly in the room it was going in but once I moved it nearer to my hub it setup in seconds, then I simply moved the bulb to where I wanted it.My hub is 2.4 and 5GHz (Virgin Media Hub 4) and it setup fine, I have seen some reviews saying it wouldn’t work with dual band routers but it did for me.Plenty of integration through the app and connected to Alexa Dot fine.Much easier than the more expensive Philips Hue ones I’ve bought in the past and more functionality.

It is a really fun piece of kit. The only issue is the human that is trying t use it.
