Very cute, but quality not great
I am 5'7" and thin/ athletic at 118 lb. I ordered XS , my normal size they fit fine, a bit on the small side, and are very cute. I had read in some reviews about the ankle being tight, but I have fairly small feet and skinny ankles so wasn't worried. They really are tight at the ankle! They put a doubled - thick area at the ankle which is really quite tight. If you have thick ankles I doubt you'd get them on. Overall I really was happy with them. Sadly the first time I wore them riding, this am, a large section on the thigh came in contact with Velcro and now looks terrible. The material is like that for running pants or swimsuits, not normal breeches. I'm not sure if it was Velcro from my half chaps or the saddle pad, but it happened when I was carrying my tack. Now my new pants definitely don't look new anymore. I will still wear them, they are comfortable to ride in. I just personally won't be buying this brand again.I attached a photo of the pants on me, and a photo of the damaged thigh area after riding.

Super cute, but they do run smaller
Ok, first, these tights are very cute. I read a lot of reviews before purchasing them since I mainly wear the Kerrits brand, but these are in my ride color (my horse and I compete in endurance -lime green is our color). These tights do run smaller than other brands. I read several reviews that stated that so I decided to go up a size from what I normally am, and I'm glad I did. That said, they're not uncomfortably tight, but I'm very aware that I'm wearing these tights simply because they are very fitted. When I'm on the trail, however, I don't pay much attention - too many other things going on!My one disappointment with these tights is that there are no pockets. I ride with my phone (for obvious reasons and for gps) so, when I wear these tights, I either have to wear an armband for my phone or stick my phone in my chaps. The calves and ankles are very fitted, which I wasn't expecting, but I actually liked it. The "no roll" waist is great, no complaints. I saw one person had problems with the words coming off, but I haven't had that problem yet. But I do rotate tights so these haven't been worn through an endurance ride yet - just training rides so I don't think I've given them a "tuff" ride yet ;)

Exactly what I was hoping for!
These are stretchy and super comfortable, but with plenty of structure and support around the tummy (I'm over 40 and a mother of 3). I'd wear these in my every day if I thought there was a shred of hope I'd get away with it. ;) It's a hot, humid day and there seems to be plenty of breathe to the fabric, with good grippies at the knees. Can't wait to ride in them, and hope they last - but at this price, even if they don't last more than a season... I'll get over it.

Stays in place and comfortable.
These are perfect for schooling days and makes a wonderful outfit when the top is bought together with it. Very comfortable but was a tad small for me. It stays in place and doesn't move. Great quality but my only complaint is that the "tuffrider" print on the thigh started looking flakey after just 2 uses. I also find the material balling up by where my inner thighs rub and that the material can snag easily. Other than that I must say I love it!

Love them!
Love these! Just rode in them for the first time and loved how comfortable they are. I wear a size 8 and ordered the large as I don’t like to get poured into my clothing and it sounded like they ran small. I would agree. I would normally order a medium, but am happy with the large. A nice wide waist band that is super forgiving. I will be ordering more!

But I just wanted to review that they were very nicely made and looked really cool
I did have to return these pants because they were too small for me. But I just wanted to review that they were very nicely made and looked really cool. I just wish they would have fit me but I am a bigger gal.

Excellent Riding Tights - Run Small
Very comfortable riding tights, and the grippy leg area really does grip the leather saddle very well. They stay in place without slipping, and they breathe well in hot weather. Only issue is that they do seem to run small. I normally wear a medium in most riding tights, but had to get a large in these to get the same fit. Would buy again.

Good Pants for Budget Rider
The TuffRider Ladies Marathon Tight is a decent riding tight for the cost. I wear these tights while schooling in the summer time as they have vented legs. The pants fit almost like a second skin, and the ventilation helps to prevent overheating. Also, they are thin enough that you can maintain contact with the horse through them but thick enough to prevent worrying about them being see through. However, the stitching around the knee pad is somewhat itchy and had threads sticking out upon removing from the original package. These proved to be only superficial, and had no negative impact on the pants themselves once removed. All things considered, these pants are a decent choice for a rider on a budget, however, they are not a long-term investment
