Karbonz Fixed Circular Needles 16-Size 6/4mm

I love Kathie needles and have lots of them. Short needles and short circular wires as well as longer needles with longer circular wires and a slew of double pointed needles in all the sizes. They feel very comfortable in my hands, warm like wood without the drag of wood. I have heard their size is ever so slightly smaller than other needles of the same size but it hasn’t affected my knitting projects as yet.

I am a long time knitter, and I really study how to be better at it consistently, etc. These are the best knitting needles I've come across in all my knitting years. (the Karbonz.) It must be something about the strength of the needle while being super lightweight. But I also think it has something to do with the balance of them. I got inspired to find my favorite knitting needles when I read that Elizabeth Zimmerman had some like ivory or something ones that were her favorite. That sounded really inspiring to me. And these are the ones I have settled on (I can't afford or would even know where to look for opal ones or whatever. But I might not even prefer them because of the weight issue.) I definitely recommend these to people who would like to improve the experience of knitting for themselves.Also as a side note, I would definitely get the fixed circular needles for all your needle needs rather than the interchangeable ones. I think the interchangeable ones sound cool, but mess with the purity and reliability of knitting in a way that I think is significant. It's really not that much of a price difference to get the needles you need in fixed rather than interchangeable. One of the draws of knitting is the simplicity of its original elements (then transformed into whatever amazing thing you can think of or have a pattern for.) Just a kind suggestion.

Love the metal tips and the warm feel of the need shaft. The cables are sturdy and don’t kink and it helps me knit to the best of my meager skills. Knitting is therapy and these are better than seeing a therapist.

Nice needles. Be careful, some yarns "stick" to these needles. I used superwash wool and had too much drag on the needles. I used a Bamboo & cotton blend, works great. No stickyness.
