This mat has been a lifesaver. My husband uses a rollator, and he can now roll easily in and out of the house without having to lift the rollator (walker with wheels). There is an off-gassing, but that's to be expected. If you've ever parked a car with new tires in a garage, you're familiar with the smell. The mat is super solid, and we feel confident that it will hold any weight. We purchased two - one in the garage, and one out to the patio. We did have to cut one to size, and it was no problem. So grateful to have found these.

My wife is temporarily 'off her feet' so we got a wheelchair on loan. However.... Our entrance doorway has a rise of t-2 inches that proved to be the dickens to get the wheelchair over the first time we took her out for an appointment. We checked some local mobility and hardware stores for solutions, with no luck. Searching online showed there are a ZILLION choices....We knew we didn't want a metal threshold ramp - that would scratch the hardwood floor near the door. And plastic might have that same drawback, and/or be likely to crack over time. Hence - rubber. And this one turned out to be exactly the ticket! It's heavy rubber, very solidly cast. So no worries about it staying put once placed against the threshold. (And no need to screw it in place, which we also didn't want.) It has a good non-slide tread on top. And, it's a perfect fit to our threshold. So handling the wheelchair over it is a piece of cake. No more having to manhandle the wheelchair to persuade it to go out! :-)(Note - since we haven't had it long, I didn't rate it for "Durability". But I have no doubt it will last, given the way it looks and feels.) Otherwise, 5 stars all the way.

Excellent value for the money. Heavy duty. Supports a small aircraft tire with no problem. I’m using it with my small airplane in order to get the plane over a 1 inch lip of concrete when pushing it into our hangar. I cut the rubber ramp in half with a sharp utility knife and placed one half where each aircraft main mount will traverse. Works great! Saved me from having to purchase an expensive mechanical tow device to get over the concrete lip when the plane is heavy with fuel. The ramp does have an oily rubber smell but it’s not objectionable, especially given the fact that it’s mostly outdoors.

The only issue with it is an extremely strong petroleum smell to it. It is not ideal for inside use as the smell seems to persist even months after purchase. But for function i give it 5stars. It is sturdy and holds up to any weight

I ordered this ramp to use inside at my front door. It is heavy and stays in place without having to anchor it in place. It is wide enough to accommodate a wheelchair without worrying about falling of the edge. My husband weighs 225# and I was easily able to push him over the threshold in his wheelchair. I am thinking about ordering another to replace the metal one that I already installed on the outside of my front door. At first I balked a little at the price but I need something right away. I was impressed with the quality and all you have to do is take it out of the box and push it up against the threshold. It stays in place and actually doesn't look to bad since my entrance floors are dark in color. My threshold was just a hair taller than the wedge but it did not make a bit of difference the chair rolled over it easily. I would definitely recommend this product.

This was the perfect size needed for our doorway for wheelchair use. It is easy to install and still looks new after a year's usage. Double sided commercial grade tape from the big box home building supply was used as an extra precaution.
