I loved this machine, I really did. It was quick and hotter than the previous two machines we've had which were more expensive. The build quality was good and it was nice and compact. If I had to criticise something I'd say that it would be nice if the markings on the water gauge were more visible and easier to read, I had to run my fingers over them like a blind person reading braille! Also would be nice if there was a light shining into the cup, like we've had on our other machines, so it's easier to see the water level.The sad part is that it developed a fault less than a month after we got it. It wouldn't come on when we pressed the button but it would come on all by itself and we had to turn it off at the plug to stop it. Obviously far from ideal so we had to return it. I would've preferred an exchange rather than just a straight refund with no other option which makes me think faults are common so I'm put off ordering another. Might just have to stick to the kettle.

I'd had a one cup kettle before and didn't like the way it over filled my cup and the water wasn't very hot.I'd looked at the reviews and eventually decided to try this.Its brilliant.Just put a cup under and press a button. It'll stop automatically or you press it when you have enough and it'll stop. Or double press for nonstop which is great for filling saucepans.It's quick heating up and not very loud.It does dribble out a little bit when it's finished but I just leave the cup under there for a few seconds until it's done.Its got a large water tank top which is great. I only fill it once a day and it's enough to keep me in supply of coffee.Its easy to refil, no heavy lifting. You just take the lid off and full up with a jug.I've had mine for about a month now, even the kids can use it because it's so easy.

So far it's fantastic easy to use and makes instant hot drinks and not to bulky. Love it

I bought this product in January with no problems for 8 months , I descaled according to manufacturers directions same as I do with other appliances such as running a Dr beckman washing machine cleaner through my washing machine every month . I contacted seller as the water dispenser failed to stop water pouring out after it was meant too stop it would splutter and spit the water out halfway through , and they advised to descale so I followed there instructions and same thing happened apart from this time it started smoking I unplugged it and my kitchen was stinking of fishy smoke (electrical burning ) . I have taken the product outside for the night in fear it will burn my house down , I told seller that troubleshooting told me to unplug and not use that is when they advised to descale and I tried it and it nearly set my house on fire have contacted seller and hoping for a refund .

I wanted one with a free flow button for continuous water dispensing and so far I am very pleased. It also looks good and the casing is very smooth all round so no little lips and edges to accumulate limescale. It's shiny and looks smart on the worktop. I was surprised about the size considering it can hold 2.5 ltrs. It's as compact as the breville I had and that had water tank of 1.7 ltrs I did read the reviews before I bought and someone said that although there is a sticker that says re-set button it didn't have one, however it does have one. Left of the sticker as you look at machine and just into the inside curve if you run your finger across you will feel a very tiny hole ( a bit like the one you have under computer mouse) to reset with a pin or point of pen. I haven't had to try it yet so can't say if it works, but no reason why it shouldn't. Also a reviewer said the water tasted awful on first use, I followed instructions to fill and run through at least 2 full tanks of water, just in case I added a very tiny amount of lemon juice. No after taste at all. I am impressed by the whole machine. Only downside is very basic instructions, hence you think there isn't a reset button. As long as you descale as recommended there is no reason for any issues (hopefully) Very impressive machine for the price.Still going strong a year later :-)

It’s sleek in design and holds a lot more water than my previous one. It’s quiet but the 250ml it automatically pours out is a bit low so only fills 2/3 of my mug. The stream is quite weak and slow. They’ve put a sticker on the top and when I tried to peel it off, it was one of those stickers that doesn’t come off in one go. Why do companies use these stickers and not easy peel types. It’s left a horrible mark on the top of my brand new machine.

Very happy with this. Bought as a tea maker for my office. I was considering a slightly smaller teasmade but reviews were so bad for that and for the stupid retro clock not keeping time anyway. This machine is taller than teasmade but is nice and slim and looks much more modern.The reservoir is a good size. The standard amount of water dispensed with the one click is a mug of tea size and you can double tap if you want to do a custom amount. It boils pretty quietly compared to a normal kettle, and of course only boils the amount you use which is much more sensible than a normal kettle.One improvement would be to not stick white paper instruction stickers on the machine itself that are a pain to remove!The one downside is you need to find a separate jug to refill the reservoir with, because the reseroir is not removable.
