Great price and pieces!
I couldn't find these in the local Home Depot or Lowe's stores and so after I ordered with Amazon I got them delivered the next day. My children and I installed it on both our kitchen fans/lights and lo and behold they work like a charm. Now, we have three different speeds in our fans and the lights work too. One thing that we remembered to do correctly this time was to write down the numbers and the color of the wire that goes in it as that is crucial if you want the fan speeds to work correctly. We didn't do that last time and had to suffer for over a year without the right speed of the fan. Lessons learned!

Replaced my 3-Speed Fan Switch in a Litex Ceiling Fan
I wished I saw this product page first; would have saved me 2 hours of research & a wasted trip to Home Depot.Key is knowing if this is a correct replacement switch. The old switch had manufacturer ID inscribed that match one listed on the product description. Perfect. I had 4 wires but then had to determine if I had 2 or 3 capacitors for 3 fan speeds, and was reading specifications of dozens of switches on various websites . Seeing a match for the old Manufacturer Model number (Wu Pin # E198635) was nirvana.TURN OFF POWER (Circuit breaker better than wall switch) to the Fan before inspecting or doing any work. You will have to remove the Fan cover to access the switch & capacitor and all the wires. When you remove the old switch, be sure to note the colored wire assignments - in my case, L=black, 1=white, 2=brown and 3=purple. Then PULL out, don't cut, the wires from the old switch. You can insert the wires into the new switch from the SIDE (use the smallest blade screwdriver to push in the brass color contacts). I made the mistake of inserting through the top holes (it's not funny). In my case, I had the use the furnished switch screw-in collar (gold vs. my old antique which was too small for the new switch). Then, re-install the Fan cover. Turn on the circuit breaker, and pull the switch.

Works great on Hunter brand fan
Our Hunter brand fan’s mechanism to pull the chain to adjust the speed got jammed and wouldn’t pull anymore. This piece was relatively simple to replace the needed piece and now the fan is in working order. Sure beats the price of replacing the entire fan!

Easy fix! Pull out old, push in new.
Pictured is the original which we pulled the wire out of. We stuck the wires through the numbered sides of the one ordered. The numbers matched the old model that was replaced. Very easy!!! Wires go through sides, not the tiny holes up top. Lol.

Works well & easy to install
The complete replacement job took me 10 minutes start to finish, it was a very easy swap out. Works well + good bargain + no complaints on install = recommended.
