I bought this light (train) for my son for Christmas. A few weeks later he accidentally knocked it over breaking the black base. I was going to order another one but they no longer had the train one. I contacted the company and they told me they would just send me a new base free of charge. They later contacted me and told me they were sending a whole new one free of charge! It was not the train one but my son was still able to switch out the plate giving him two lights! He was ecstatic when it came in. Awesome customer service and wonderful product!

The REMOTE CONTROL is the BEST reason to purchase this particular steam locomotive light. I was actually considering one other train light, but THIS TRAIN's remote control has the MOST FEATURES you could ask for! A added BONUS is the INCLUDED USB PLUG in addition to the USB cable (which is a minor misprint in the instruction booklet stating 'not included'.) A major misprint is 'PRESS the power button' on the base of the light as I could not - but soon realized IT IS TOUCH SENSITIVE and you only need to 'TOUCH the power button' to change colors. I did not feel this was enough reason to take away from the 5-star rating. But I almost did for the fact that the plastic film on the back side is almost impossible to get started to remove (the front had a slight bulge that made it easy to lift up) - suggest the film protrude out alittle on one end to aid as a starting point.

This is a neat light. The light shines up through the base and the etched design in the plastic train piece catches the light and makes the image show up. It's unfortunate that this type of lamp tries to say it's 3-D or even holographic. this one is more fun than some since the remote has many options for the color, brightness and even a nice fade-through of all the colors. There's a timer which is nice too.

Very cute light and is nice that it has different colors to choose from. However, the internal part of the base that it sits on is very fragile. The port that you would plug the charger into came loose and was rattling around in the inside .... no way to recharge. Bought a second one for Christmas 2020 and same thing happened within a week. Wish they could make the charging port more stable within the base.

I got this for my grandson for Christmas. Before I wrapped it I looked at it. Made really cheap & it doesn’t plug into a wall outlet. I thought the train would be more of a holographic look to it but no. I returned this item

The train is very detailed. He fact it has a remote to change ge colors and settings to change colors and set a timer to go off is awesome. Only downfall is the plug in on the back for where the the cord goes in seems like it could brake easily if it falls or the cord is taken out a few times.

This may sound stupid, but I thought this was some kind of hologram-esque light. Maybe something close that was unique. It's a piece of plastic with light shooting through it. You can change the colors from a remote and make it flash... so I guess that's unique, but it's nothing to show your friends and get excited about.

This was a gift for our eight-year-old grandson who loves anything related to trains! The light is nice and bright, and the colors are fun. Great that there is a remote with it too.
