Ada Twist and the Perilous Pants: The Questioneers Book #2

For fans of "Ada Twist" who are ready to read
I purchased the first 3 books in this series as a birthday gift for a second grader. She is a fan of "Ada Twist" picture books and loves these chapter books even more. She is able to read most of the book independently and is highly engaged in the plot of each one. The chapters are short and there is a section in the back with fun facts and even a poem. I would recommend these to any child fan of the "Ada Twist" picture books or Netflix series.

This series is full of adventure
I love the series and this book specifically because it encourages curiosity in kids, mine decided they wanted note books to log their day and daily learnings. My little ones are emboldened to ask more questions, the lessons in this book are easily brought to life.

Encouraging, intelligent, funny!
We love all the books in this series. While this one has a lot more scientific terms that went over my 5yos head, he still understood the storyline and has begged to have it read multiple times. We love the encouragement to ask questions, try out new ideas, accept your weaknesses and finding friends who encourage you!

Love this series!!
My boys and I love this series - both the picture books and these early chapter books. My 3rd grader is past the reading level, but is still interested in hearing what the kids from Blue River Creek are up to. My 2nd grader isn’t a big independent reader yet, but when I handed him this new book on a road trip, he lit up and read it cover to cover, stopping to share little details throughout. This particular book was very timely, with the upcoming election. Love!!!

Fun Science Book for Kids
Ada Twist and the Perilous Pants is a children’s fictional chapter book written by Andrea Beaty and is book two in The Questioneers series.Summary: Ada is full of questions. She is full of ideas. Sometimes there is so much going on in her brain, it’s hard to get it all out!But after experimenting with heat and smell, her science skills are put to the test when her friend Rosie’s Uncle Ned starts to float away in his helium pants! Can she use what she’s learned to save the day?My Thoughts: This book is very fun. It has an interesting story line, is full of testing theories and hypotheses, working as a team, and using science to save the day.I particularly like the underlying message of not giving up, and continuing to try until a solution is found. This book would definitely make a wonderful present for any girl (or boy) who loves science.I would like to thank Amulet Books for providing me with a free digital copy of this book for my unbiased review. Thank you!

Perfect book
My daughter loved this book! She is almost 6 and reads at a high level. It's hard to find books on her level that are age appropriate and this book met our needs perfectly!! Strong, intelligent characters! We can't wait for the next book in the series!
