Fits and works great. It is true that the holes are not tapped - just run the bolts in carefully and they form their own threads just like a wood screw.

The cylinder and piston looked OK to start with, but problems soon developed. The rings were extremely brittle and broke during installation so I had to order a new set from another vendor. When they came, I installed them without a problem and set about putting the cylinder and new piston together with the bottom sections of the crankcase, but when I tried to install the bolts that thread into the cylinder base they started hard and only turned a couple of turns before getting too hard to turn. Upon disassembly and investigation I found that the threaded holes were indeed not threaded and the bolts had started into the unthreaded holes.. The machine work was incomplete. Some parts made in China are OK but quality control is hap-hazard or non-existent at others. These parts are used so they probably won't accept a return. Beware of buying from this vendor...you might get unfinished parts.

ITS TRUE THE CYLYNDER IS W/O THREADS EXCEPT PLUG HOLE THAT LEAVES TWO INTAKE,TWO EXHAUST,TWO COIL ,FOUR BOTTOM END,AND THE RECOIL START TO THREAD ON YOUR OWN I RAN A 3/16 24 TRU THEM FIRST THEN LET THE BOLT DO THE REST WASNT IDEAL BUT DID THE TRICK .THE RINGS GOT TO BE INSTALLED SO NOTCH MATCHES WHERE THEY RIDE ON PISTON .FOR THE PRICE ITS SEEMS LIKE A FINE PRODUCT....TIME WILL TELL

This was a poorly machined piece. All of the screw holes were not tapped correctly. Most of them not deep enough. I will not purchase it again.

Perfect for my STIHL FS45 weedwacker after it was run on straight gas. Only thing is I wish it came with the gaskets for the cylinder - I just used black Permatex form-a-gasket and it’s working like new.

With the rings on the piston the piston jammed before the piston rings passed the exhaust port. After measuring the cylinder and piston the cylinder was almost 10 thousandths too small. What a waste of my time and money. All this after I tapped every screw hole on the head. I ended up using the old cylinder. Once I get it all re -assembled and started I will update .
