A fantastic ending to a wonderful trilogy!
4.5 starsA fantastic end to a wonderful trilogy! This story only picked up pace as the plot progressed, with wonderfully developed main and secondary characters. It’s rare to see such a well-rounded series, but each book had its own set of adventures while progressing the overall storyline. My only complaint is I was #teamtheotherguy (sorry, no spoilers), but with spinoff novels planned, I’m hopeful for even more happy endings. If you love stories about sisters, action, adventure, and a dash of romance, I highly recommend picking up this trilogy!

Nice wrap
The full cast shows up to complete the story. There's plenty of action, scary creatures, and gore as the sisters and their loved ones battle a nearly impossible to banish curse, hordes of undead, and having to travel all over their world in order to finally vanquish the evil witch they brought back from the dead at the end of book two. My only criticism is that I thought the ending dragged on a bit too long.

good book that filled in the rest of the series
Eana is finally free from those who are opposed to witch magic. Or so Rose thought, but it looks like When is hiding something and it can't be easily fixed. With the weight of the throne and the unanswered prophecy, how will Eana unite, how will Rose and Wren unite?Once again, this has been a roller coaster ride. It's been awhile since I read a book that would break my heart, and this book just did that. There was a point in the book where I kept repeating I was so mad at it with all the emotions I felt for it.Though this book made me feel, I thought the overall book was just okay. I thought the resolution was something familiar already, I felt like they dug deep just to find the romance exciting, there were parts that I thought were unnecessary.Overall, it was good. I do think both the previous books were better, and this filled the hole that the readers wanted.* I recieved an eARC of this book

amazing
Perfect ending to the story. There were some heart aches, some crying moments, but a great ending. Sad that the story is over.

Great finale to this YA fantasy series
This was such an enjoyable series and the final book did a great job wrapping everything up.There's a lot of action in this and it's fast paced throughout the story. Switching between the twin's points of view keeps things moving along and adds more drama to the plot. The love triangle was interesting, though I always wish they would resolve in a polyamorous relationship and they rarely do.I can see myself revisiting this series to see the magic and fun characters again and I look forward to more books from this duo.I voluntarily read and reviewed this book. All opinions are my own. Thank you to Balzer + Bray and NetGalley for the copy.

A good quick-read fantasy series
I really enjoyed the last book of the series. The whole series follows the twins Rose and Wren as they learn more about their magic. The burning crowns picks up right from whereCursed Crowns stops. The story is quick. There's a lot of action in it.And what I got out of the ending of this book is that love, true love, is the strongest magic of all. This was a fun series to read. There are a lot of slow burn romances among different characters. If you're looking for a short fantasy series to read, this one would be a good choice.

Fantastic ending
This was an epic ending to a series. I'm in awe of Katherine and Catherine's writing and as a team wow they truly brought a magical world to life. I loved the bond between the twin sisters and how this story has come full circle. Each character had to learn and grow and come together to defeat a shared enemy. Each character played a role and brought this story to life. The world they created is beautiful and I'm very excited there will be spin off stories.
