Very sturdy hold. If you don't mind drilling holes into your wall, this will work to hold heavy weighted items in place.

Perfect for hanging heavy wood framed mirrors in the bathroom Sheetrock/drywall. I’m not sure why some reviews are negative from people that are trying to use these in wood studs. Obviously, if you have a stud to hook into you only need a simple wood screw. This product is for gripping a screw into drywall when there is no stud available and it works great for that purpose.

I needed a large pilot hole just bigger than the trheads, carefully controlled torque on my driver and runined 4 before I got one not to strip out. I won't be buying these again.Trying my own 3d printed alternative, definitely cheaper if you have a good 3d printer which I do have.

I've used a lot of drywall anchors in my lifetime and if you have as well then you know they usually strip out or pull through or split open or some other random failure. These anchors were awesome. I did predrill the holes with a 3/32 bit which is not necessary but I'm just like that. I then turned the first couple of turns with my fingers just to get started. After that I used a philips head screwdriver to finish inserting these into the drywall. They were TIGHT to the point that I couldn't turn it anymore. I was shocked. I was easily able to add the provided screw to the center and the anchor didn't move at all, again utter shock. I would highly recommend these.
