I have a black lab and as any labrador owner knows, the waterproof coat can be very difficult to clean. This shampoo does not have that problem. It lathers very well, I felt like it penetrated the coat much better than any other shampoo I've ever used, and rinsed so easily I almost couldn't believe it.I also love the scent. Not heavily perfumed, this shampoo makes your dog smell CLEAN and DEODORIZED, not just covered in some cloying flowery smell or other overpowering scent designed to mask the dog smell.And finally, my dogs coat has NEVER looked shinier. I had people coming up to me on the street to comment how beautiful and lustrous my dogs coat was.The bottle was smaller than I anticipated, but on that note, I only had to use about 1/2 the amount of this product as I would with other shampoos I've used. If you buy this don't go overboard dumping a large amount onto your pet. Three dime-sized amounts (base of head, mid-back, and base of tail) was plenty, if not MORE than enough for me to completely lather my dog.Highly recommend.

We have used the product only one time, but I absolutely love the clean fragrance without a perfume overtone. I was a little startled when my hands were a nice shade of dead looking blue, but that quickly washed off later with normal hand soap. Her coat is shiny and clean. So far, it is an excellent product. (Did leak in its shipping bag a little, but not significantly.)

We have a Black German Shepherd that loves swimming in the gulf so he gets quite a few baths (2 to 3) times a month . This product not only keeps his coat shiny but doesn't dry out his skin.

The smell was pretty much ok. All went well. But it made my black labs fur slightly reddish which I was trying to avoid. No such luck. Really made me angry since it is made for black fur.

My black "golden" doodle was looking dingy. I cannot believe how much his fur/hair popped and looked so black after one use.

This shampoo leaves my black cocker completely black and shiny without leaving any whitish residue.

The product is expensive but it makes the dog look nice. I use it for my Doberman and my little Terrier mostly for special occasions.
