water pump
purchase this pump every year and use it for a furnace humidifier recirculation pump setup. works well and for the cost per unit not bad as a item i know i have to rebuy every year. the pump sits all summer and the old water calcium build up does it in. cleaning it after winter would probably extend the life but honestly forget about it until winter comes back around. dial down the water flow with a inline adjustable shutoff to restrict the water flow lower. great quiet pump.

24V Pump Failed After 2 Years
The pump is rated for >30,000 life. For 22 months, this pump has been on a schedule to run from 7:30 - 23:30 (16 hours per day). Therefore the pump has run no more than 10,320 hours. Bench testing the pump, the motor draws over 3 amps (for the 24v version this is over 70 watts) before my bench top power supply's constant current limit is triggered.The fountain the pump was used in was fairly well maintained. 2 star rating is fair considering I got about a third of the rated life of the pump. Replacement is the real pain in a fountain such as mine as I will have to reseal the plugs where electrical and fresh water are supplied.

Obvious used item. Leads had old electric tape on them. Water stains all over the housing.

Worked until it didn't.
Worked for my setup for around 7500 hours calculated off the purchase date until the time of this posting. Ordered another brand to replace (the lead time for these was too long). I used them for a 3d printer cooling system in a closed-loop. I'm glad I figured out they were bad before letting the hot end heat up and meltdown my printer...
