Fluker's Premium Heat Mat for Hermit Crabs, 4"x6"

I bought this heater to help warm up my hermit crab’s 10 gallon tank by a couple of degrees. I placed it on the side and not the bottom of the tank for better temperature control. The temperature fluctuates a little, but never goes out of an acceptable range for our little guy. It works as expected. He seems happier, so I am happy with this heater.

Best bang for your buck. Better to buy here on amazon then at the pet store where they want $25 for it. Perfect size for my new baby crested gecko. He is being kept in a small tub till he is big enough for a small exo terra tank. The heat pad is perfect size and does not over heat like other heat pads! PERFECT

This product provides a gentle heat - enough to warm my hand if I press it against the plastic it is mounted on. I use it for my isopod bin, so it is perfect for my uses! I don’t think I would recommend this for a hermit crab or reptile, I doubt it would do much to warm the enclosure. Adhesive fell off after a day and I had to tape it on.

I bought this for my son's hermit crabs. It was able to keep warm the spot under their hiding shell which is all we really needed. The Amazon price is much cheaper than going to a big pet store. It's flimsy plastic and you stick it on the bottom of the cage but I found it easy to remove and restick.

I love the heater! I upgraded my tank so I added another heater.. it was perfect!

It did not stick to my hermit crab tank for 2 weeks. It did not heat up my tank, but somehow managed to make it colder. I am ordering a new heater. Don’t get this heater.

While the pad does get warm, it's not enough to warm your hands. The sticky material doesn't attach properly to tank. If anything gets on the adhesive it's done for. I think this is probably the worst item I've ever purchased from Amazon. 😕

My kids got one of those as-seen-on-tv self-leaning tanks for a betta fish for Christmas (My Fun Fish Cleaning Tank). Though we live in Southern California it's hitting below 30 at night and the poor fish looked like he was going into stasis. I was afraid to get an in-tank heater after reading too many reviews about them cooking the fish. This tank is REALLY small, maybe 2 quarts at the most. I put this underneath it (I didn't use the adhesive - kept the plastic on) and it keeps the water from dropping below 70. I have to say he's a happy little fish! He swims around all day and eats like a champ. This heater is awesome and I'd highly recommend it for a small betta tank.
