Works well once installed. Needs a quick release / mount system. Have to disassemble to remove.

watch you don't lose it in the wind!!!!
Anyone who buys this mud guard remove it, if you are putting your bike on your bike rack on your car. Or you will lose it 😢 like I did. I never got a chance to use it so don't know how good it is. Looks good though!!!!!!

Thorough, lightweight protection for fat bikes
This is a great front fender for a fat bike. I have this on my Fatboy (medium frame) with 4.8" tires and it is fully blocking water, mud, slush etc. Super easy to put on, to switch to another bike (Helga small frame, also fits well), or to just remove the fender and leave the frame attachment. Seems about as lightweight as you're going to get for a fat bike fender. Also bought the rear fender. This also worked really well. I have a super thin seat post and was able to attach this snugly without any movement or loosening over rough trails. It was a tilt bolt which works really well so you can change the angle of the fender. Both fenders' surfaces snap on and off from the frame attachment. For the rear this is especially great, it allows me to take the fender off when I transition from slush/mud to snow pack. The rear fender can make it harder to get a leg over the bike if you post hole into snow, so the quick removal is nice on terrain you don't need it for.

This Front Fender works great and is easy to attach
This Front Fender works great and is easy to attach! I've had it for a little over a month now and have had no issues with it. It has stayed snug and secure to the bike, and I've never heard any noise or felt vibration from it. I primarily ride my bike to and from the gym daily. It's nice to have this after rainy days, so I'm not covered in mud from low lying bike paths in my area. If you're using this to actually off road, you're still gonna get dirty. This is just going to make you stay just a bit more clean.

it's great, but you can easily make this yourself
so, the fender is great. Easy to install and does what it says BUT....when you actually get the thing and really examine it you'll wonder why you spent the money to buy one. You can make as many of these as you want for only pennies by getting one of those cheap Crazy Carpet things you buy for sliding in winter, or plastic duo-tang, make a stencil, cut it out and viola. It's the same thing. The fender is made out of a thin flexible plastic sheet that, when folded along its creases, becomes more rigid and holds its shape. I did a youtube search and sure enough I found all kinds of videos of people making their own DIY fenders this way. I'll be making all my own from now on. Don't get me wrong, if you buy Dave's Mud Shovel you won't be disappointed in the product, it's very cool......but if you are a DIY'er like me, you'll wonder why you spent any real money on it. same idea as this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=69MsCI10Emw

Great front fender for fat tire bike
Works great on a Fat Tire Farley.Just be aware. If the bike is on a hitch rack on the back of a pic up truck, you may want to pop the fender off before you get up to highway speed.Lost mine that way but the fender works great so had to get another one.
