Installation was easy enough. Parts all fit together well and screwed ...
First off you do need the RPM rear bumper mount to mount this so go ahead and add that to your cart.Installation was easy enough. Parts all fit together well and screwed together just fine. All necessary hardware is included. There are some extra parts to make it 2wd and 4wd compatible, you will have some bits left over. The carrier fit the stock tires/wheels that came with our Traxxas Slash Ford Raptor edition tires great. It doesn't feel like there is much beef to the part that mounts the tires, but once you get the tires on there everything feels secure. I've had several traction rolls so far on dirt and pavement at high speeds and everything held together just fine so far.Now lets talk about how it will effect your car. I installed it on a totally bone stock 2WD Ford Raptor edition slash. Most people would call the stock suspension on the Slash a little soft and this doesn't help matters at all.You will get so much rear sway under acceleration that your car will do nothing but push the front end through the turn if you try to turn under power. You have to jam the brakes to get some weight on the front end to get the thing to turn at all. Also, adding all that weight will make the stock brushed system seem underpowered. If you plan on sticking this on a stock 2WD car be prepared to be disappointed. Now you guys are wondering how on earth I can give this thing 5 stars? If you've ever driven a 2WD slash on brushless power you know it takes a lot of throttle control the keep from exiting a turn back end first. With the weight of the extra tires on the back you can really throw a lot of brushless power to the ground without spinning the back end around. Running a 4700kv brushless setup geared down to 14/90 and the setup throws down insane power to the ground out of the corners I couldn't have been able to do before without spinning out. I'm not the greatest driver but it makes the 4700kv setup much more controllable like the stock Titan 12T but with way more top end and acceleration. Sticking with Brushes power? Skip it. Want to go brushless and suck at driving like me? Get one. Got a 4WD? I can't help you there. I will say the setup looks great. Big thumbs up from me and my son (It's his Slash but my money and labor).

BOSS. \m/
Wow these are boss makes my slash look awesome. Its starting to look scale, I put the stock tires on there which are the hard compound tires made the back droop a little lower but thats kinda good I guess because it wont be flipping when making aggressive turns. Was pretty easy to install I run a 2wd slash. I recommend this in case you have a brushless system and alloy or metallic hexes mounted and they strip the inner rim for the spare.

Looks fantastic!
Fantastic! It adds a realistic look to the truck, only downside is the weight, but if you have adjustable aluminum shocks, this product wont set you back at all. Will buy again.

Not super sturdy
Bought it and is stood up decent but started to bend and now I donโt use it just feels kinda like a waste good idea bad execution they need to make a metal version

Pretty! But not practical
Looks great! However this adds ALOT of weight in the back on the slash 2wd. (im sure the 4wd also but I don't have it.) So if you're a basher who likes to jump like myself, this is not a very good "upgrade". But I'm sure you can stiffen up the back suspension to give it just enough spring to get it to level out in the air. Plus you have to cut all of your nice bodies to have them fit, so... Bummer...
