Are the dollar bills printed on regular paper, or would they be able to hold up in water?

The dollar signs should hold up in water but the bills seem to be made of paper (and not sealed with any protective coating). I can't guarantee that they will hold up in water.

What material is this made of? Can I get it wet?

The "100.00" bills are printed paper and the "$" are pvc; and no, you should not get this wet.
