Calathea Plants prefer slightly moist soil. Check if the top 1 inch to 2 inches of the soil are dry then water the calathea ornata plant. If you let the soil dry out too much, you may see browning or yellowing on the leaves, but don't fear, these plants are hardy and can bounce back after watering the plant.

Not worth the rupees
Two small plants was sent. They were not full or bushy. All of the leaves had some kind of decay.
