I have been using this bar for years. It is excellent and cleans effortlessly. Everyone in the house including our maid loves it. Uses less water to wash the dishes which is an added bonus.

it contains only 3 small pieces @ 120/- per piece. It is expensive soap but less utility

Has a faint scent of oranges/lemons. Makes clothes soft. Cleans very well and produces a lot foam that is not abrasive on clothes or on hands like other blue detergent bars. Washes off with very little water. It is the perfect laundry bar. It is quite expensive for its size, but sadly there aren’t any alternatives available in the Indian market. It would be great if 4 bars could be supplied instead of 3 for the same cost.

Not so good

With sensitive skin that reacts badly to strong chemicals or ingredients in the dish soaps available, I needed a gentle and effective cleaning agent in the kitchen. I think I have found the right match for my kitchen in Bar Bar and would recommend it highly for the non-toxic and clean feel for my dishes and my hands. Only problem was, I had to buy a special soap dish to keep it dry and be able to collect the drips for use later. I would like to offer a little suggestion that works for me - since the bar is fairly large and tends to break in the centre after a few days of use, I cut it into half, and that works best for me.I like it even more than the luxurious body soaps !

Absolutely love it! Have been using this for my dishes, hand washing clothes and stain removal exclusively for almost 5 years.Yes, it took some effort to make the switch, convincing our maid that a little less shine on my vessels was ok and also providing her with a hard core scrub to clean dishes with tough grease, to make up for the missing chemical action.In our previous rented house, we used to water our plants with the water from our kitchen sink in which we used only bar-bar and they flourished. We had huge water problems in that house, and since using this soap needs less water for washing, and we recycled the water for our plants, it was a win-win solution. We’ve never looked back!Recently, we moved to our own independent house, where we do grey water recycling and our grey water smells less of funny gases because we don’t use any chemicals in our home.We also got a dishwasher recently and after trying various natural soap alternatives, we arrived at 1 tsp of grated bar bar combined with 2 tsp of baking soda as a superb dish washer friendly soap.What more could we ask for from a soap!!

After using blue colored soaps for washing my kids karate clothes I tried this soap. It whitens very well, doesn't leave any spots on clothes. I apply soap, brush a little, leave approximately for 10 minutes and put inside washing machine. Clothes come out clean and soft.
