Rough texture, poor absorption
Was delighted to find 100% cotton watercolour paper at this cheap price. Sure enough, you get what you pay for!The surface texture of this paper is very rough (see image - some pages are even more textured). The product description should mention this CLEARLY.Some people may enjoy this texture, but I was hoping for a smoother paper. As a beginner, I find this too rough for painting or for practice. More experienced artists might be able to work with the rough texture, although not without some trouble. Getting an even wash oh this paper is a huge pain, even with a fully loaded big brush. Single stroke leaves or petals are simply not going to work on this. In the second picture you can see several strokes with a loaded brush in ultramarine violet (artist grade). In spite of REPEATED brush strokes, there are still visible bare patches. The absorption isn't particularly good either. A 100% cotton paper like campap absorbs water as you lay down the brush strokes. On this coneco paper, the water just sits on top of the paper - and not in an even sheen of moisture, but in tiny little puddles. After a few hours however, the pigment is absorbed so much bare patches show up on an even wash!I was disappointed to find that the seller does not allow returns, only replacement.I wouldn't recommend this paper at all unless you are expressly interested in a rough surface, and willing to work with average absorption.

The worst paper you can find.
This is a ridiculous paper. The quality of the paper is same as that of ordinary handmade paper widely available in the market for Rs:10 for a whole A1 sized sheet. This is neither processed nor has the texture of doing water. Extremely rough. Takes a decade to dry up. Unnecessarily thick, and with second wash the paper starts tearing off...If you want cheap water color papers, there are many available in the market, like brustro, or maestriaa or fabriano. This paper is fraudery.

Rough and unmanageable paper
Very rough paper. Although its thick and watercolours don't bleed to the other side of the page, it does warp with wet application. Not all that good. Can't do any detailed work.

Dirty paper.
Very poor quality product. I'm an art teacher. The sheets are dirty production. I will not recommend this to anyone. Amazon guys should check products before putting them up for sale.

Would have liked slightly less texture as the colours start to fall ...
Absorbent and doesn't buckle. Would have liked slightly less texture as the colours start to fall off the rough grids and outlines get blurred in the fine details.
