Philips BT114 Bluetooth Speakers (Black)

Bought this as a farewell gift for a colleague so I had just one night to test if the product works or not. So the review of the product is as following:1. the product build quality is good and is as same as mentioned below.2. The Bluetooth got connected pretty fast both mobile and laptop.3. The speaker has good bass.4. If you wish to use the FM radio you need to connect an aerial like your head phone or the 3.5mm jack provided.5. Tuning the FM was sort of frustrating took a lot of time to get it right and make sure you have a lengthy cable for aerial for better reception.6. The USB cable provided was a loose fit, I mean that thing did not fit snugly the way I expected it to be,this is a major let down.so this all I could see in the product in one evening I got.

What I liked about the speakers: Very cute and stylish looks, easy to hold in hand,powerful sound regardless of the small size,did not feel any distortion in sound at high volumes,bluetooth connectivity range also very good.What I think needs to be improved: The volume could not be reduced below a threshold,so it was difficult for me to listen to it at night without disturbing others.If the radio is switched off at a particular FM channel and switched on again, then some other channel starts playing.It is difficult to search FM channels as there is no display for FM channel.The indoor FM reception could have been better.A wider base of the speakers could make it more stable, though it is not an issue if you keep on a flat surface.Overview: The speakers are good if high minimum volume and searching FM channels are not an issue for someone.

After using it for about a month, here is a full review:1. Looks: Overall it looks good. Build quality is also fair enough. But it always need a flat surface to stay stable and deliver. Quite shaky on full volume.2. Connectivity: Lot of interference/noise​ if something kept in between the speaker and your mobile. Not up to the mark.3. Sound: Base is good, good sound quality but as soon as i put the speaker on full volume it gets switched off. I have to reconnect and as soon it paired with mobile and play music it again switches off. Had to pause the music, reconnect and lower the volume so that it remains connected. I will get this checked as it is in warranty.Overall, bad experience, not recommended. Instead go for JBL or House of Marley speakers.

Everything about this product is very good-sound, clarity, features, connectivity, size/form factor. The products delivery was also promised and good, received the product in good shape. However what was upsetting is the calling, when paired with a phone, there was a lot of echo which my listeners were complaining off, I was however able to hear things clearly. tried a lot to troubleshoot this issue - searching on the Internet, trying multiple phones, but nothing seems to work. as this was one of the important needs for which I purchased the speaker I was pretty upset.

This speaker is a value for money, provide nice quality of sound with so much clarity, and the audio is also balanced in this.

Clarity of the sound is not good

The product is very good. It's looking nice and easy to carry anywhere. It is giving good sound in living room.
