I quit chewing 9 months ago, and have used Smokey Mountain with success. I do not like the fact it has a tea base, and tastes is weird.

A bit gritty and not so great of a taste. tried it a couple times and just can't use it.

It's very grainy, but that being said, the taste is spot on to long cut products. I started dipping over 25 years ago in the military and have recently just quit. This is turning out to be a godsend. I highly recommend.

My husband had been chewing Skoal for 30 years. He learned of this tobacco & nicotine-free chew & decided to give it a try in an attempt to end his addiction. He began by mixing Skoal with this product. This provided the nicotine at a reduced level. He did this for 2 weeks, lessening the amount of Skoal he put in this product’s tin. He’s now at the point where he’s using this product only. This still gives him the sensation of having the feeling of chew in his lip without the terrible nicotine. Yes, as he lessened the nicotine he primarily had headaches for a couple days but they passed. This product worked with the method he created. He’s now over a month clean of Skoal. At $4.25 a tin for this product it’s well worth the cost compared to the price of a tin of Skoal without the terrible impacts of chewing tobacco. Maybe this method will work for you? I normally do not write reviews. I normally just go on about my business because I dont believe my opinion matters, nor would anybody really care. Regardless I am writing one today. I dipped Copenhagen snuff for 20+ years. I got married, had two kids, and never thought or tried to quit. Then in March of 2019 a colleague, mentor, and good friend developed oral cancer. I thought at that moment I would stop. I am two months in, and havent had a dip or a thought of a dip. The pain of nicotine withdrawals lasted 3 days. But the oral fixation of having a pinch between my gums was the hardest part. In preparation for trying to stop I bought at least 10 different products. I found two that I really care for, but of those Fully Loaded is far and away my favorite. If you are a fan of long cut, this is your jam. Between the moisture, the texture, the smell, the taste, it's the closest I've found. You can buy it in varying levels of nicotine. I decided to go straight for the bullseye (the zero nicotine). Like I said I dont normally do this, but if it helps one person in stopping dipping or aiding them in stopping, then I highly recommend this product.

Tried. Does not taste like dip. Its basically Smokey Mountain. Super sweet, molasses only made with different things than corn husks so its a little better there. It is just not what I have heard it was and I couldnt find it local so i had to order off line. If you like Smokey Mountain then this will be fine.

it's not a good substitute for snuff.
