Big and sturdy holder
This is a big, beefy, sturdy phone holder. It's heavy, with a nice large suction cup. When securing it to a window you can tell quickly that it's going nowhere any time soon. It's very easy to install and has many ways to adjust the viewing angle. I have it mounted in the center of my window under the rear view mirror and it's great for holding my phone for navigation. It's well built and I could find no manufacturing defects. I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 stars simply because the arms that "grab" the phone are not deep enough / thick enough to reach out and grab the edge of my phone when it has a thick protective case on it. My case is a bit thicker than normal because it's the type that holds a few credit cards within the case. I have other similar style holders in other vehicles that have adjustable arms that work around varying phone case thicknesses with no problem, but this particular mount doesn't. It will work fine for phones with no case, and thinner cases, but just know that the arms that actually hold the phone have zero adjustment. It's priced fairly for what you get.

Great vehicle tablet mount
Great tablet mount!! Worked perfectly for my application. The suction cup held very well, and the aluminum construction was a nice step up from all the plastic models out there. Seller communication was awesome!

Sturdy Car Tablet Holder
This tablet mount is a reliable and versatile solution for holding tablets during travel. It holds my tablet very securely, giving me peace of mind that it won’t slip or fall while driving. The arm is highly adjustable, allowing the device to be moved into many positions for optimal viewing angles, whether I’m using it for navigation, entertainment, or work on the go. The included base is a great addition, letting me attach the mount almost anywhere with a flat surface, whether on the dashboard or windshield. Installation is straightforward, and the mount feels solid and heavy-duty. Overall, this tablet mount is a practical, sturdy, and flexible accessory for anyone who needs a secure way to keep their tablet accessible in the car. It combines convenience, reliability, and versatility in one package.

The arms detach and fall- professional installer used
I bought 2 of these and they fall over and over after following directions carefully. The monitors have hit me while driving and have damaged my monitors I advise against purchasing these. Trying the 3M tape now. Otherwise the device does hold the monitors. Can't return monitors because they are damaged because it is this units fault

I have accumulated many of this type of mount in past 10 years+/- . Trust me , they are not all the same by any stretch of the imagination . Different size ball's , reversed ball/socket placements and i am sure there other configuration's that I have not been exposed to . About 5 years ago I actually had a machinist buddy make me a couple of adapters from stainless steel to be able to swap out different bases /different ball's to different tablet spring holders . Lucky for me , my last 2 device purchases use a near-identical arm to this one and I have tested it over 3 cold winters . I have left a all-n-one entertainment center/twin camera 7 inch screen device on the suction cup with arm fully extended in -30C occasional -40 C winters and only had it fall off once and hanging from secured cable's . That vehicle sits tarped in the yard for 5 months . I should add that I did fabricate my own near-mirror quality stainless steel mounting plate to secure it directly over the useless rear-view mirror . Works ! But not big enough for two of these vaccuum type mounts , besides this one needs to go a bit lower , perhap's mounted from the dog-house motor cover somewhere ? Too cold right now ! The 3/4 inch material(arborite) the suction cup is mounted to in photo's has a very slight texture to it and will not hold the arm , fall's off in less than 10 minutes but if I used the glue that I have in another kit , improvements would be likely . Others have noted that a longer arm would be great , I concur with that but also realize that the additional length would make the mount less secure/reliable .

Very impressed with this mount thus far. Unfortunately, the suction base is 80mm and so is my dashboard mountain plate - so it won't hold and I will need to upgrade to a 95mm plate. Attaching it to the windshield in order to test it, the suction cup is extremely strong. The phone mount itself has strong springs to hold your device (in my case - phones) with a depth that allows for a phone case AND a pop-socket while still being held securely within the hooked mounting space. My only complaint is that the rotating ball head that attaches to the phone mount isn't super strong, and I forsee it weakening over time. With the way I use it (resetting the phone against the dash to limit any shaking) I don't think it will impact me personally, however it could become a problem over time for others. For the price, if it lasts a year or two it has likely been a worthwhile investment. Would recommend - but if you want to dashboard mount it, make sure you have a big enough mounting plate.

A very impressive phone/tablet holder! Two features stand out for me - the suction cup mounting design and the telescoping arm of the unit. The suction cup - at a bit over three inches in diameter - is terrific. It is among the best for gripping onto the windshield - and I have a bit of experience with suction cup mounting devices, because I sometimes use such devices for camera equipment mounting rigs. I have not bothered to use the mounting pad onto the dash. This "pad" sticks to your dash, and you then mount the holder to the "pad". As good as 3M glues are, I doubt that after some time, the pad would remain set to the dash. Like many truck dash panels, mine has a light texture to it - it is not smooth anywhere. There must be a good reason why every auto manufacturer does that kind of design to their plastic dashes. However, I find the mounting to the windshield to be very secure, and I found a nice spot that allows me to position the mount low and in the corner of the trucks windshield. No issues with blocking my view of anything. Note: some of the pictures in the ad, show a tablet mounted in what appears to be in the drivers line of sight. Not good. It will earn you a ticket, and if you are ever in an front-end collusion, you will be in trouble. Just make sure it is not impending your vision... The telescoping is the second great feature. It allows you to get your device closer or further away. And this feature words! Your phone is held in place very easily - in fact, with a phone, it's probably over-kill. With ability to support 33 pounds (!), a phone is hardly a test! If you need or want to, mount a phone or tablet into your car or truck, this is the way to go. Get a unit that will both support a lot of weight and hold onto your mounting surface, with strength to spare. Bottom Line - A very capable mounting system that works. And works well! Some nice options to get your device held just where you want it.

The PLDHPRO tablet holder is an excellent car mount. I plan to use it for car camping when I want to watch videos in my car before going to sleep. I mount it on the rear window and it holds the tablet securely. I don't plan on have the tablet mounted while driving so I can't comment on how it holds while in motion. But for my use, it's very sturdy and secure. I love how adjustable this mount is. It easily accommodates a wide range of devices, from phones to larger tablets, and holds them steady without wobbling. The arm and joints are solid and allow for smooth angle adjustments, making it easy to get the perfect viewing position. Installation was quick and straightforward, and the overall build quality feels durable and well made. It works great in cars and trucks and is ideal for hands-free navigation or passenger use. If you’re looking for a reliable and sturdy tablet mount for your vehicle, this one is a great choice. Highly recommended!

The suction cup on this thing is serious - once it locks in, it’s not going anywhere. It handles phones and tablets without too much wobbling, even on rough roads, and the adjustment range makes it easy to get the angle just right. The joints could be a bit stronger for heavier tablets, and the arm isn’t as long as I’d like, but for basic windshield or dash use it does the job well. Simple setup, solid hold, and surprisingly versatile for its size.
