This backboard set is just what i had hoped for. All the parts/pieces were there and the dark color looks really nice (close to black as some have stated). Take your time to measure and get the proportions correct when hanging. Would definitely recommend to use the plastic anchors. Depending on the board you use the weight could be an issue. No manufacturing flaws in my set but realize it is not high quality furniture here. Like I said it looks awesome , could not be happier. Be careful not to discard the pouch for your dart flights and other materials. Dry erase was black ink and the scorecard set up works well. Renewed my enjoyment for the game of darts Would buy again and at the time of purchase was cheaper than most of the foam protectors available for sale.

I wanted something clean and this product is just that. Some people said theirs looks more black on the borders but mine is definitely mahogany colored. The felt looks great. The box states that it comes with mounting hardware but there was none in my box. I removed the frame hooks and used four drywall screws with the predrilled holes. Very sturdy and no give. I'd recommend this product for sure! The ONLY thing I noticed that was a little bothersome is that the frame is not 100% square. You can't tell with the naked eye, but it was off by about 1/16" from top to bottom. Not an issue though.

The Viper Backboard was exactly as described and came complete with all mounting hardware. The purpose of the board is to protect your wall, NOT to "catch" darts. They won't stick because they are not supposed to. Bounce outs are a part of the game and so is completely missing the board once in a while. It is well made, looks great in my family room and costs only a little more than it would to make something by hand. I would highly recommend it! My only complaint is the way it was packaged by Amazon. They just slapped a label on the retail box and shipped it. The box took a beating, but thankfully there was no damage to the product.

Pros -Not so big that it takes up your entire wall but enough to fit a dartboard with some leeway -Very easy to setup. Was up and ready in minutes and had the dartboard mount preinstalled. -The colors are very nice. Looks amazing on my walls. -Very sturdy and constructed well. Doesn't feel cheap Cons -The backboard is solid. Unless your darts are thrown hard, they will bounce off of this board and onto the ground. Good news is that it protects your wall. Bad news is that it doesn't protect your darts -The screws that are used to hold this thing to the wall are bright silver. Sticks out like a sore thumb on the black fabric. A black marker easily fixed that.

Update: I read some other reviews saying their darts fall out all the time. I don't see how this is happening. Either the darts you're using are cheap, you need to sharpen the tip or learn to throw a dart better. I've had maybe two darts hit the backboard and not stick. I've had friends over to play multiple times that are way better than me and if they hit the backboard the darts stuck right in them. However, playing with my fiance or mom is a different story. Theirs have hit the backboard and fallen out. It's 100% the way they're throwing the dart. They lob it, arch it or just don't have any spin. Sometimes they are not throwing it hard enough. If you barely throw it, it's not going to stick. There needs to be mediocre form and power behind your throw or this obviously won't work. Yes, it takes practice (You should see my wall before I got this backboard), but like anything, it's necessary. Don't listen to the reviews saying they don't stick. It's one of the issues I mentioned above. This is a must have for any dartboard! It looks very sleek with the design and the non distracting color is great. I haven't had any problems with darts not sticking to this or falling out. It actually lined up perfectly to rest on top of the fireplace mantle with the bullseye being at the correct height of 5'8". Used anchors on one side that didn't have a stud and drilled the other side into the wall stud. Sturdy as can be and protects the wall.

Super cool dart setup. This backboard and scoreboard really make the game look cooler hanging on the wall. I've been decorating my garage/man cave and I came across this set and thought I had to get it. I'm glad I did because it totally helped tie the theme together. And now I have a place to place my darts and a place to keep score. All my friends love it too. They're jealous. Installation wasn't too difficult for me but I am a contractor and have lots of experience with a tape measurer. If you want the set to hang as pictured on this product page then you'll need to do a little math, it's not too difficult just take your time and double check measurements.

Does what it is meant to do (protect), looks good and easy to install. Was pleased with the easy installation on my plaster wall.

Looks good and a bit of protection. First delivery was a mirror and then I went through a lot of problems trying to get the mirror picked up so that I could get the right delivery. The expectation was that I would cancel all of my immediate plans for 48 hours awaiting the pickup. Had a medical appointment that had been booked 3 months earlier so I tried to contact the courier but their chat didnt work and I hung up after 45 minutes on hold. Then I received an email saying they missed me and to contact them to arrange a new pickup. How when I cant reach them. Finally got this order and it is quite nice. Pricey but nice.

Received on time. Bought it as a gift and husband loves it. Great quality, looks really nice and is holding up well with lots of play.

This came in great time, and was exactly as expected. No major nicks, scratches or dings, a few imperfections but nothing worth noting. Its a nice size, and covers what needs to be covered to protect the wall with non expert throwers. A cabinet simply doesn't have the coverage this does. Its a nice piece, I'm happy with it.
