Fun for kids and adults
Got this for my little cousin for Christmas (he's 11) and he loved it! Said it was one of his favorite gifts. Just to see the excitement on his face was worth the price. The product itself is good quality. Seems sturdy. Classic pin art like I remember when I was a teen, except did seem a tad smaller than the one I had back in the 80's. Still, I think it's a good buy. Hours of fun on something so simple. Great to see the little one's be interested in something other than electronics for once.

This is the toy you remember from your childhood
This is the toy you remember from your childhood. I originally bought the version of this toy with the blue plastic pins. The plastic pins were nice lookin, but they stuck and didn't move up and down easily like these metal pins. Delighted with this product and both the adults and kids are enjoying it.

Great Toy!
I have always wanted one of these to play with. My mom originally bought this to take it to her office as a desk toy, but now my sister and I play with it all the time. This product exceeded my expectations because it is a very durable product overall and in addition, the glass is thick, so it doesn't break easy, and the metal pins are long and thin, so it allows for a lot of detail to be shown. I could use it for hours and hours without getting bored, so it is an amazing product overall!

This thing is literally hours of fun! I keep it on my desk (I teach in a middle school). The kids are drawn to it like a magnet. They put messages in it. They make impressions of there hands, pens, phones, and even their ears! Just keep an eye on them! Once there was a perfect impression of a hand gesturing with the middle finger up.I like that the pins are metal it seems to last much better than the plastic ones.My only complaint is is almost impossible to clean and it seems some of the pins are starting to rust.

Decent for the price, weak corners, "sloppy" pin holes (not like the 80's toys!)
I purchased 4 of these, two arrived broken. Not the fault of the manufacture, but only really highlighted a future "issue". The corners, where the screws go through are very close to the edge and relatively weak. The pins are lose, you have to have the toy upright before you can really make much, or else the pins will slide and you will lose the contours. So far, they seem like they will be a good gift for our 6/8/11 Y/O boys. If there are any negative issues, I'll report!Corey

Nostalgic satisfaction
I'm an adult. What I had in mind was what I saw of these when they first came out about 35 years ago. This is quite satisfying - just a bit smaller than those, I think - but with the similar smoothness of pin motion and weight.I was concerned about the reviews about the sharp pins, so had my metal file ready just in case, but the one I received did not have sharp pins - roughly cut, but not sharp.

Fun toy and decor piece
Purchased this as a xmas gift for our autistic daughter. She enjoys playing w/ this and is fascinated w/ the different shapes she is able to make w/ the pins. Guests who happen to see this will pick this up and enjoy playing w/ it as well as leaving a new shape when they are done. Its only been a couple weeks & so far the pins are working fine.

Reminiscent toy, hours of fun
My children love this toy. My 7-y-o wanted one for her birthday, but they ALL play with it all the time, and it is just lovely for me because of course it reminds me of the '80s when I was playing with this kind of toy. Yay! Better than TV!
