Overall:Simply put: The Croc is momma planner. The Malden are her kids.I almost said that this planner is an investment. But it's not, it is a treasure for someone who really likes notebooks/planners/ travelers planners/ journals and is trying to find planner peace. Sometimes, we paper hobbyists dig around in products/ product reviews looking for something different, something sufficient to contain what we need and secure what we want to carry. We buy copious amounts of supplies and still are not happy . We refrain from making "large" purchases, because we aren't sure it will be "worth it" and then we set unreachable goals for a product, and find meticulous complaints about minuet things in order to deal with our guilt/uncomfortableness ( buyers' remorse). Please note, I haven't ever spent this much for a planner*, and when it arrived, I knew it was exactly what I saw on this site and it was everything I thought it was going to be. Its' secure, it's sturdy and it is extremely attractive, and this design sets itself apart from any organizer/planner I would have piled up on in multiples ( at the same total cost: 5 okay organizers or 1: awesome organizer). And there isn't another planner on the market that will trump the capacity of this one.Why I think this:Ok, I watched a few Youtube videos about what this A5 filofax croc would look like and all the features like the long pocket across the back of the planner, the zip pocket etc... ( pocket accommodations remind me of Webster pages composition size TN which is a great thing because you can never have too many pockets). I also looked at the picture up here as well. Lets' be clear, this is not crocodile leather, this is calf leather ( croc is just the design name).Croc vs. Malden PersonalThe Malden Personal Ochre is buttersoft like what silk + leather would feel like if they had a baby. The Malden comes with cardboard in both sides of the pockets, to keep the shape of the organizer, and then if you are a planner, you realize that you stuff it to keep its' shape. The Malden is gloss lip gloss shiny and the closure enjoys stretching with minimal resistance. The Malden is light when shipped out.However***The Croc is a different relative.. more like the refined Cousin you can't believe your related to. Even the box is heavy.The Croc is textured and each croc rivet is detailed and firm, with character ( meaning you can't pull out a sheet of paper and use your planner as a firm surface to write on top of). It's not lip gloss glossy, it has a buffed shine ( not reflective). The Croc is firm, there are no card board inserts, because it keeps its' shape. The long pocket across the back ( similar to the Malden pocket), is deep and separately lined and you get 2 pen loops and a bunch of credit card slots. Can you use this as a wallet? Yes, you can fit everything you need in this planner, even your car keys or FOB if you want to put it in your zipper compartment.The Croc does not stretch so I would not recommend over stuffing it, but the interior ring depth is way more than the Malden, meaning I have about 400 pages or so in the Croc and there is no buckling or bulging. The closure does not stretch either.

I was researching to up my game in organizing and merging my wallet and planner into one. I got the Personal Compact size rather than the Personal size and I'm so glad I did. Fits in any medium-small purse perfectly, assuming you aren't someone who carries a ton. My extras beyond this organizer would be my iPhone plus, small bundle of keys, face mask, and a few lip products for my purse.As a wallet, I can use all the card slots for my credit cards. I have pockets for cash and I can use plastic inserts to hold business or reward cards. As a planner, I can choose whatever planner inserts that suit my style and organize them with the dividers provided.I was concerned because based on some reviews elsewhere, some said this organizer was a bit stiff and wouldn't stay open when in use, while others said it was soft enough to lay flat. My experience is that it is soft enough to lay flat on its own.This is actually a much better value than buying this product directly from the Filofax website because it came with all the inserts! The packaging was meticulous and detailed. It's a premium product and they definitely treat it as so. Great seller.

For my appointment and small diary.I have several Filofax personal, pocket, mini, A5 and others.I am using these Filofax Diary since I studied in the Great Britain.Although Samartphone is very convenient but these diaries are traditional, so Iike them.

I had an old Filofax organizer that was falling apart, so I decided to treat myself to this one. The leather is soft but not flimsy, I feel it’ll hold its shape for a good while.I like that there are slots for cards and the zippered pocket for cash/coins. There’s also a large compartment you can use to store important papers.I definitely recommend this organizer. The only drawback for me, and the reason I’m giving it only 3 stars is the outdated calendar it comes with.I had to order a 2023 calendar separately and that cost me another $25, the organizer was $179.99. If they couldn’t add a new calendar, I wish they had lowered the price of the organizer.

The quality of the calf leather on this notebook is amazing. I love that it’s not too floppy like the Malden, but has just enough structure/stiffness. There are plenty of card slots and a zip pocket is always a plus!

More than satisfied, beautiful leather. I know this brand since ever and I am never disappointed with it.Quality, luxury, practical, elegant ... you have something in your hand. You can't go wrong when you choose for professionalism!

I ordered the pink and black for comparison. The pink was definitely much more sturdier and better to the feel.....
