Perfect for Single Ladies and Gents
Perfect for my cooking needs...retiree, living alone. This was top rated on a top cooking channel. This won over the butane type burners.This is a hot plate (think of a dorm room)....no more, no less. I fry eggs, boll, reheat, replacing my replacing my commercial grade range. I wish the burner area was larger. A rice cooker completes my stovetop needs.

Not cool touch
Just got it today. It does heat up fairly slowly in my opinion and it is not cool. Touch at all. I had another hot plate that it was cooled to the touch. This is hot to the touch. I got the single hot plate.

LOVE!!!
I’ve been using these hot plates for 10 years. I’ve gone few a few of them. Not because they stop working but because I want a new clean one and they’re so inexpensive.

It's a worthless pos
If I could give no stars I would. The damn thing stopped working within a week and the company and warranty is useless. They don't help at all. Don't waste your money. I will be calling and reversing the charges at my bank

It's cheap and worked well for me
My use is "off label"I bought it to heat a small pan of blueing salts.At full power the unit got the molten salts hot enough to produce a uniform dark blue.My lab hot plate melted the salts in the pan but did not reach blueing temperature.It has enough power to boil a small pan of water and is very sturdy.The smooth surface heated my blueing evenly.

Quick delivery, but….
The box arrived damaged and then when we unpacked it, the burners had dust on it. Other than that, Appliance looked undamaged and well made. It took a long time to heat up my pan to cook the food. Overall, not sure I would buy this again and I may even return it. I will use it one more time to determine.
