I just received the Grill Daddy Pro cleaner. I've only used once, but was pretty impressed. The bristles seem strong and secure. The steam cleaning feature is awesome and very effective. Many have mentioned that it leaks, but the instructions say to turn the valve to the off position. I chose to just empty the water when I was done. If anything changes my first impression with this product, I will update my review.

Normally I don't believe the "as seen on TV" hype - but THE GRILL DADDY PRO IS THE ULTIMATE BRUSH FOR CLEANING MY GRILL ! I do believe it is cleaner than when it was new! I mean that, all the junk that would not come off even with heating and scrubbing JUST DISAPPEARED FROM MY GRATES EFFORTLESSLY using the grill daddy pro. This brush works GREAT - is it perfect? no is is plastic but that is why the PLATINUM version is available - aluminum housing but cost more and all it does in reality is drip water where you are brushing to produce steam to help you clean but it does it well. The only complaint I have is I feel it should have a higher water capacity but that is a minor complaint considering the great job it does.OVERALL for the price this is the best brush ever made for cleaning grill in my humble opinionI love it and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone - my grill has never been so clean - especially with so little effort.5***** buy one and ENJOY your grilling - even the cleaning lolUPDATE - -AFTER using this for about 50 times I wanted to come back and post an update- IF YOU DON'T HAVE ONE OF THESE AND YOU COOK ON A GRILL YOU OWE IT TO YOURSELF TO BUY ONE. I am glad I got the pro also, at first I thought it was to big but after using it a LOT I have found that it is just about the right size for an all around grill cleaner, Small grills it can seem to be too big but when it is used on a large grill or smoker it seem small when your had get warm LOL. This brush makes super quick work of even the dirtiest grill, and I really put it to a test slow cooking up some super sauced ribs, after about 10-20 seconds of brushing the grates look new again - THIS GRILL BRUSH IS AWESOME! - simple FACT - and Amazon has it for around HALF the price of buying it in a B&M store.IMHO THIS IS A PERFECT CHRISTMAS GIFT FOR THE GRILL MASTER IN YOUR LIFE !

Had a one of these for almost 10 years. When I replaced with this one, it is so cheaply made that it leaks from the seams. I contacted the company directly when I first received it but never heard back

Best grill brush ever

2013 1013Maybe I'm getting used to it, but the more I use it, the more I like it. The steam isn't magic but it does help, especially when the grill is very hot.The wire brush fell off recently and I thought the assembly had broken. Fortunately the screws had just come loose. I could have put it back on easily enough, but it was overdue anyway so I ordered a replacement brush which arrived in 2 days thanks to Prime.The replacement brush doesn't come with instructions, but didn't really require any. You'll need a phillips and a small pair if pliers (for the wing nut if it's stuck). Only two parts, not including the square-shaped rubber gasket that just fits in the assembly frame, 2 extra screws, just remember where things go.Took about 10 minutes to replace, although it would take 2 minutes to complete a second one after seeing how the first went.Mine is a year and 5 months old. It's been used heavily, and dropped several times. It was out all winter. It still works fine. My sympathies to those who say they break easily. The price went up by $4 (in a year!!), and maybe the quality of parts and materials has gone down as well. Mine keeps going.On the price, I'd have replaced one or two of the cheaper ones since buying this one so the value is there even if it costs more up front.If you try it based on this review, I hope your experience is closer to mine than some of the more negative reviews. If they will raise the price like that, no telling what they might do to lower cost as well, so buyer beware. The replacement brush is fine though.--2012 MayFormerly titled "Could have been good"Pros? The grip is pretty good, and the brushes are replaceable. With the steam, the grill does get cleaner.Cons? It would be much more effective to simply keep a spray bottle filled with clean tap water at the grill and use it with a standard grill brush. There is nothing ingenius or even clever about the Grill Daddy that can't be accomplished a lot more effectively, and cheaply.The steam does the cleaning with any brush, not just the Grill Daddy brush. As for the key feature, the Grill Daddy Pro just dribbles the water out with little control, and if it comes out too fast at times, it cools the grill so the cleaning is not as effective.Conclusion - I will use this thing because it is comfortable, and it does work. I would not recommend it to anyone else. There is much room for improvement in both design and features.
