In love with it! Perfection in the carving and just brilliant quality.... Heavy duty, not lightweight at all like I expected.. This was supposed to be a gift for someone, but now I'm getting greedy and want to keep it for myself!!!!!

I see that I'm the only one giving a negative review here. 1. It's not made of steel, but of IRON. 2. Dimensions and weight mentioned are true. Yet too small to hold calvin and hobbes books. Dimension: 15 X 10 X 8 CM(H X L X W). Weight- 1.200 kg. 3. Hobbes is well cut with round edges, but Calvin is all pointy tips and sharp projecting points. 4. Price- 1499, while other lasercut bookends from the same seller are priced at 899, why only clavin and hobbes is at 1499- I don't get it! 5. I've previously ordered simple bookends worth a meagre 299 and marble ones worth 1499- both of which are excellent and absolutely value for money. 6. I bought this one- in spite of its inflated price- to showcase my calvin and hobbes collection. But later decided that a 299 one could do the job better. 7. Colour- wish it weren't black. 8. Perhaps it's a good buy if you can have it at a much lesser price.
