I bought this Wahl clipper set for those days when I just don’t feel like going to the barbershop, and it’s amazing! So far its cut my hair and done so quicker than what i was using, is quieter and easier to clean afterwards. The attachments are a plus too.

Cuts hair, is inexpensive. The carrying case is a nice touch, and the generous variety of guards and set of shears were an unexpected bonus. It does pretty well at cutting hair, and doesn't overheat in the time it takes to do a trim unlike my Andis. However, it is inexcusably, insanely loud due to sympathetic vibration of the plastic housing. You can control it by holding them together, but why should you have to? It would have been trivially easy for them to add some sort of sound damping material where the edges meet to prevent it.

WAHL QUALITY. I have my own personal kit for nearly 20 years, cutting my own hair. This professional kit has EVERYTHING for doing barbering. The hand fit is perfect for cutting and maneuverability. Glad I made this second purchase - and using it for giving haircuts to the elderly in our apartment complex. Very much impressed with all of the new gadgets inside this professional kit. Great trimmer. It's relatively quiet and works really well. Wahl is a great brand so i expected it to be of good quity and I was not disappointed. This is for my shih tzu between grooming appointments. Most trimmers only come with a couple of trim guides. This has a BUNCH. I was able to shave down my dog quickly and easily. I usually can't find a guide the right size, but love that i have so many choices. This is electric, corded. So it has more power than the rechargeable ones.

Finally decided to buys some real clippers, so I could save money by not going to the beauty shop as often, for my short pixie cut. These clippers worked great for me, and I'm a beginner beginner lol. The instructions explained the process perfectly.

As a whole it's a fine tool, but it does seem to heat up a bit more than I like ( I have 3 haircuts to give). Also, it's a little louder than I prefer. Overall a whole lot better than the last clippers I purchased somewhere.
