Nice, old classic jadite look and design sugar shaker.No issues with the glass but whoever packed this at Amazon must have been either new and in training or 6 yrs old - maybe both.Item arrived in a mixed box of other items. Item was not packaged individually nor was it bubble wrapped. It was loose in the box. That’s a pretty pathetic way to send a glass item.Lid also had a very noticeable dent in it. I managed to press and work most of that out but still. It was a Christmas present from my 7 yr old to his Mom who collects real antique jadite. Would have been nice if whoever packed it showed a little concern.

It seems well executed, the glass is thick, hopefully sturdy, the metal lid also substantial, smooth slide mechanism, but without sealing gasket. That may not be an issue, but I’m nervous. It’s really delightful , I’m not being critical with 4 out of 5 stars. I like and recommend buying one.

Pretty and seems quite sturdy, a nice addition to my small collection of Jadeite kitchen things. The picture made it look square but it is at least half again as tall as it is wide.

Great retro look for my coffee bar. It does not hold as much sugar as my old sugar bowl but it is certainly prettier!

I see reviews about cover not fitting. Mine fit perfectly. Attractive, well made. Recommend this product

A nice useful dish a little on the small side - however I was shocked to receive it in a plain paper envelope, it's a miracle it arrived intact from the US. Surely glass items should be shipped carefully in a box (with bubblepack etc!)

I bought this and I am so pleased that I did. Where I live it is nearly impossible to ever find the old Jadeite items and another brand is out of my budget. This one by Table Craft is everything I thought it would be and more. It is the perfect piece of Jadeite glass for my kitchen, and the colour is perfect. Thank you for offering this so people like me can get some real Jadeite and appreciate it to pass down to family in the future.

Having read several reviews from customers who, unfortunately, received a jar with a lid that did not fit properly, I was hesitant to order. But, I took a chance and mine arrived with a lid that fits well.I do agree that the lid is of thinner metal than expected, but overall the sugar jar is very cute and a true jadeite colour.

It is pretty, and at a good price-IF the lid would stay more securely on the plate. Ironically it nestles beautifully and stays secure when inverted however, one can't put a butter lid on it's plate upside down unless there is no butter on the plate. Harrumph. The colour is good and it sits proudly with my vintage pieces; doesn't look like a reproduction sore thumb to a casual collector. It is a bit too thick and chunky to see my hand through when I hold it up to the light. Sadly, I probably won't use it for butter as planned...

The colour on this is unlike classic jadeite. It’s more opaque. I had to hold it up to the light because it looks like painted ceramic. The colour of the lid and the container are a slight mismatch. Overall, it holds salt as promised,but for the price, I’d expect a better product in terms of quality and design.
