Robust and Suitable for Its Purpose
Well constructed from heavy gauge metal nicely welded where required. Wheel bearings appear to be heavy duty. Tyre feels solid and durable. Not the cheapest unit out their but in my experience Marathon tend to make good to very good products. Sadly, wheels / casters from most other manufacturers are poor to awful with the wheel and tyre components in particular really poor quality. Recommended.

Flat-Free, and Substantial
We are using these on multiple carts at my catering business. The plate is a size that appears to be standard as it fit the holes already in both carts perfectly. Love that we never have to worry about a flat.The only bad thing about them is that installation is a bit tricky as the wheel is in the way of getting to the plate, but this is easily remedied by taking the wheel off the caster, installing the caster, then putting the wheel back on.

worth the price
Very sturdy and affordable. .worth the price I paid.. I wasn't sure what to expect. .but was pleased with the product..

Packaging was good and product was protected well enough
Product arrived earlier than I expected. Packaging was good and product was protected well enough. I installed 2 of the fixed casters and 2 of the swivel casters on a speaker cart for the high school marching band. Quality looks good. Researched Marathon and they are a US company. I may need another set soon so I want to see how these hold up. One game and one competition done; so far so good.

worked perfect for the project
worked perfect for the project. We converted an attic fan to an outdoor fan that can be rolled anywhere in our yard. We have a very large yard.

bad tires
absolutely the worst tire ever. I cannot roll a cart with like 50lb per tire with these. Also the tires are super stiff. they are 8'' but cannot come out of a 1in dip under load.Also forget about the slightest slope. The holder cannot tolerate the tiniest side force. It starts to bend

Great Quality
Hard and round. Great quality. Would buy again but these are never going to need to be replaced.
