Kason 1094 SureClose Hydraulic Door Closer, Concealed Mounting, 11094000013

My walk in cooler was not closing all the way and every employee would not take the time to push it the last 2 inches shut. I ordered this replacement part and basically unscrewed the old one and screwed this one on. Now when someone is walking out of the cooler with a hand full of items and they hip check the door closed, this item will pull it the rest of the way to close it tight. It seems pricey but when your compressor fails on your walk in from running non stop from the door being cracked open it will more than pay for itself. It works great!

The media could not be loaded. This door closer is the absolute best you can buy. I have used 4 different brands on this door and Kason is the only brand that correctly closes the door and keeps it closed!

Arrived on time, well wrapped, the instructions were pretty cut and dry.after a little adjustment the doors the walk-in close almost effortlessly.worth the time and money.

I have this installed on the walk-in at my restaurant. It works great, but I had to replace it 3 times in the last 6 years. I thought this thing lasts longer than that, like 5-7 years.

Install was straightforward and unit seems to work ok. Hopefully it will last longer than some of these reviews have stated. Although seemingly from the same brand company, unit was noticeably different than the same unit it replaced. Gas shock is substantially smaller. So much so, in fact, that i wonder if this is an economy model or counterfeit product. Also, the installation sheet was a terrible copy on a letter sized sheet of paper. My old unit is the top one in photos.

Works fabulously! I'm the maintenance person, and after installation our cooks said they've never had a door that closes so tightly and easily. The only thing I didn't care for was the slotted screws included with the kit...would have been easier to screw into stainless steel with a different head. I ended up using some of my own Phillips screws.
