It says Iron - but is it Cast Iron?
The pan has Grinding marks on the inside and outside. It rusts - so, it definitely contains Iron. However, is it cast Iron? I doubt it

Not a good product
Even after using it several times it gives out black carbon and rusts.have to apply oil to prevent rusting.Not a good product

I am in love with this kadhai.
Beautifully hand crafted iron kadhai. Heat spreads evenly and food gets cooked fast and better. Food doesn't stick to the bottom of the kadhai and the taste is better. This is something I always wanted. I have put away all my hard anodized, ceramic, non stick, earthen, and aluminum kadhais. I am totally in love with this one.

Gets rusry
The iron was of a defective quality. Inspite of treating again and again the kadai gets rusty. We have thrown out the product.
