DII Woven Paper Storage Bin, Metallic Lurex, Gray, Medium Rectangle

I have been using this as my new laundry hamper for a few weeks now and it has been great.At first I was not sure that I would like that it was had some shiny threads thru it, but overall it makes it look really good.The basket is about 15" in diameter and 20" tall. It is constructed of durable materials from what I can tell. Even though it is made from 'paper' it is unlike what I consider to be paper. It has the strength of burlap or a potato sack and although I tried to stretch it out, it is indeed tough.There is a seam between the bottom and top portions, but has been holding up well even under placing 25 pound weights in it and carrying it around the house. Where the handles attach, there are metal rivets to hold more weight.Inside of the basket, it has a separate lining which is made of a thick enough material that will hold up well over time.So, if you will use it for laundry, or to organize lightweight toys/items it will work really well.The style of it is great. The function of it works great also. I love that if I need to store it, I can just collapse it and store it under my bed.The price is pretty justified also. I couldn't use this for the purpose I bought it, but I was able to use it for something else.

I love the round storage baskets so much I ordered some of the rectangle ones. I have to say, I prefer the round. The lining inside of the round ones are of much higher, sturdier quality and the round bins stay standing up even when empty. The liner of the rectangle/square bins is a little more flimsy with a small waffle weave pattern and when they are empty the sides flop over.. That may work for some, just not me. They are both great quality & super cute also. So pretty much ~ just decide if you want one that stands up or one that only stands up when in use with items in it 😊 You will be happy!

I do love these storage bins by DII - they're cute and functional. I have several in square and round and in different sizes. This one is larger than I thought it'd be, so I can't use it where I'd planned to as effectively, but that's not the manufacturer's fault of course. I live in a little log house, and while some of my decor is rustic, I like to add contemporary or fun or unexpected items throughout my smoky mountain home. If it were just a little smaller it'd fit perfectly for where I want it in my closet - it's too shiny and contemporary to put any where else.What I do like is that it is a "metallic" look - almost a silver-black and while it is pretty darn shiny, it's more shimmery than uber-sparkled, though there is sparkle and shine - I don't know if the photo helps you to understand what I'm trying to relay!DII uses the rope-look handles on all their storage bins (at least the ones I have) and I wish sometimes they were a different color, and in this case, maybe a different color/texture to more match the shimmery look-though I'd not want more sparkle, but maybe if the rope were black? However, it still looks nice and the handles are heavy duty.My 'basket' is standing up just fine. I had to fiddle with it a bit - it comes collapsed so you do have to get up in there and push out the sides and bottom. But once I did that, it stands great and it's sturdy.This basket is less than $20, and if you go in any store selling these types of things you'll see that these bins are reasonably priced. It's well made for that price.It's lined with cloth, and I'm not using it for anything wet so it should do fine. I'd not recommend using it for wet clothes, though I do have a somewhat smaller DII storage bin with cloth in it in the guest bath that will be for guests to put their towels, etc.If you want a fun, contemporary, shimmery, metallic-look "basket" to liven up a room, and at a reasonable price, then give this a try.

I am a very organizational person. I have two small children, so I like to try and keep their toys in bins, and I make them pick up their toys before bed every night. This is my third bin from this company. Each child has their own color so they know where their toys should go. This bin is very chic, and stylish. I like the silver streaks in the white. Although, it's not easy to clean except for a spot treatment since it's made from a coated paper, and has a white fabric lining. I can fit quite a bit in this bin. I took a photo with some mega blocks inside for size comparison. I love the rope handles on the side as well. Just adds to the look.

I was looking for functional and somewhat fashionable storage for wire shelves. I wanted something that didn't have a lid on it because things never seem to get put away when they have to take an extra step of lifting a lid. These fit my needs. The only thing I should have put more thought in to is that when the basket is empty, it doesn't hold it's shape. I was planning to just put these on the shelf and fill them up as we needed. I can't really set them up if they are empty because they won't hold their shape. Not that big of a deal but something to think about.

purchased to store my scarves in my closet but so roomy and pretty I decided to store my small bags and clutches in a more prominent location. It is really lovely and aside from arriving a little mishapen, I hope to reshape it overnight, I love it. Arrived in 2 days.

I loved this basket so much that I ordered another one. It's a pretty good size and I used it for a dirty clothes basket. It's very shimmery and it does fold in a little when standing empty, but as long as there's something in there, it holds up pretty well. The basket looks better than pictured and it's almost the same size as my old packet white laundry basket.

Very flimsy. I put cardboard in the sides when I made a basket with it for a house warming gift.Otherwise the fabric is nice.

Esta súper bonito el diseño y el color, es súper amplio le caben un montón de cosas. Viene doblado y no vuelve a su forma cilíndrica fácilmente, tuve que ponerle mucha ropa doblada y dejarla así varias semanas para que ya no se doblara, por eso no le pongo 5 estrellas.

Me encantan, compré la grande redonda y chica cuadrada, ambas blancas. Las uso para guardar los juguetes de mi bebé. Son hermosas, se ven muy modernas y les cabe todo. Quién dice que los organizadores no pueden verse modernos?

I ordered 2 different kinds of these baskets previously. A small square and a medium round which I absolutely loved..Then I recently ordered a LARGE round which was almost a $20 difference from the medium. Youd expect it to be much bigger for that proce right? Well it isnt at all. Only difference is a couple inches in height.. definitely not worth the increased pricing. Kinda disappointed to he honest
