Exactly right
I use these to connect Pocket Wizard radio slaves to cameras and flash units that use the standard PC sync socket. The locking tip is useful on the Canon 580 EX II speedlights as it screws in and locks.

All sync cords stink but this one seems to be made better than the cheapie ones. Also, this is the only one I tried that is reasonably easy to screw in to the pc terminal of my Canon camera because the locking end has more room for my fingers.

Quality gold plated connector.
There’s no substitute for OEM accessories when you you need reliable functionality. These are the gold standard.

Quality cable
Note this cannot be used to trigger a FlexTT5 from a camera with a PC Sync connector. The instructions/marketing do state this on the PocketWizard website, but somehow I missed this fact.
