iPod touch Made Simple: Includes 3.0 Software Features and Extensive iTunes(tm) Guide

This book is excellent for someone technologically challenged such as myself. Without this book I doubt I would have been able to use half the features on my new iPod Touch. The book is well laid out and easy to navigate so you can quickly find the part you need. It is not bristling with jargon that an older user would not understand. It does not assume a level of knowledge, but starts from basics and manages to do this without being patronising in any way.It does what it says on the cover; makes the iPod Touch simple. It starts with the super basics and works up from there. I've been very happy with the book and would recommend it to anyone who is getting one of these gadgets and wants to get the most from its features.

I was at first a bit concerned about a book 712 pages long for the iPod Touch. The book came quickly and from first page ... I was hooked. Every bit of the iPod Touch is included in this book and it will be a reference book for the ages. Everything you want to know and it is "made simple" as the title implies.You may not use 80 percent of the book ... but to know that it's there is peace of mind and well done.Good purchase and great service in getting it. Thank you!

I don't even have an ipod touch yet but got this book at such an amazing price thought it would be a good investment to learn whether I should get an itouch vs an ipad. For my needs, an itouch would be a better choice. This book has step-by-step instructions and is well layed out and easy to understand with lots of pictures. I will be ready to go when I do finally get one (hint, hint Santa).

I found this learning book too massive. With 700 pages, it was heavy and combersome to use. I found a better book, "My iPod touch" Third Edition by Brad Miser. It was better organized, had colored images, smaller size and easier to handle. This book covers iPod touch 3-4 and 5 generations and has about 540 pages. Even the pages were of better quality then the "Made Simple" book. The "Made Simple" book was more than I care to handle.

This is a helpful book. The only problem is I`m totally ignorant when it comes to any electronics! I would recommend it!
