If you're looking for a high-quality, affordable and practical replacement toilet seat, look no further. This one is exceptional (and I've fitted a fair few toilet seats in my time!) From the get-go, it's well packaged and comes with clear instructions and high-quality fittings for both top and bottom installation. The single push-button hinge release makes removing the seat for ease of cleaning a doddle. It's sturdy and comfortable in use and it's soft close is smooth and steady, perfect for protecting the fingers of any small people in your household. By which I mean children, of course... not vertically challenged adults. For bottom fitting, pop the metal screw down through the plastic base, pop the plastic washer onto the screw on the underside of the pan and secure it in place with the plastic nut. Do it up finger tight but don't use a screwdriver just yet... the seat will need some adjustment. Got both bases installed? Great. Now pop the toilet seat onto the metaal pins, close it, and adjust it (and the brackets) so that they're in the correct position, even on both sides. Take your time with this. Both bases will rotate and slide back and forth to allow for perfect positioning. Now do the plastic nuts up as tight as you can by hand, press the hinge release button and CAREFULLY lift the toilet seat back off. Hold on to each plastic nut in turn and use a screwdriver to firmly tighten the screws. Don't go mad with this... the screws are secured by plastic nuts and if you put immense torque through them, they're likely to break or thread. Now, pop on the metal covers to hide the fittings and fit the toilet seat back on to the bases. It takes literally five minutes to install and nobody will ever suspect it's an affordable DIY job. As with any plastic toilet seat, use hot soapy water to clean it (and the fittings) and NEVER harsh chemicals such as bleach as this can weaken the plastic and even make it brittle. Can't recommend this seat enough. For such a mundane item, it's a touch of class!

When it came first impressions were that it was very light and seemed flimsy but after 6 months of use its excellent. Easy to fit, works great, easy to clean thanks to the quick release system and good value. The fact it is light does not mean it isn't robust. It's a good product at a fair price.

What a brilliant find..... Had to source a replacement quickly and as white thought I would look for a reasonably priced alternative... The Aqualona seat was reasonably priced but surpassed all of my expectations.. Firstly it looks great... The shape really suits the wc and the fitting was done in just 10 minutes following the step by step enclosed detailed instructions... I hadn't really taken much notice but the soft close seat and lid is an absolute bonus as the cause the demise of my previous seat was the seat dropping and cracking.. Now I would be looking for this feature if I ever need another replacement... The delivery was made the very next day (on a Sunday) and normal services were resumed within an hour.. All in all I cannot recommend this product enough.. A real bargain...

Good solid product that came with fittings for both blind hole installation and screw from underneath installation. Managed to get the seat to fit my Ideal Standard bowl but had to use the old screws to connect to the basin due to ridiculously shallow connector points on the basin itself, something I'm sure they design to try and force you to purchase their official replacement at nearly 3 times the cost of this once. Feels stable and sturdy and hasn't moved in use. The soft close is great as well as both the seat and lid have this feature instead of just the seat as per my previous installation. Very easy to install and to remove for cleaning. If you're not sure if this will fit your bowl, give it a try and return if not. You can angle the connectors various ways to get a good fit.

Good quality seat with a smooth soft-close mechanism and easy click-on / click-off removal for cleaning. However, installation is not as “simple” as advertised if you have an older or non-standard toilet. The supplied white plastic fixings did not fit my toilet holes and required adjustment and reuse of existing metal fixings to achieve a secure fit. Once adapted, the seat works well, but buyers should be aware it may require problem-solving rather than straightforward installation. Overall: nice seat and design, but fitting compatibility could be clearer.

I bought this seat as I needed a low cost replacement for one that had broken. This has done exactly what was required. It feels like it's of decent quality, although not as sturdy or heavy duty as the original seat. However, it's what I'd expect for under £20 and still represents good value. I found it easy to fit ( less than 10mins), and I'm not blessed with DIY talent. The push button removal is a nice feature to help with cleaning and hygiene. It looks good wih a smooth, quiet slow close mechanism. Delivered quickly and I'd recommend for the price.

Easy to fit, there is a QR code on the box that gives a link to a video with fitting instructions. The seat is slow closing with a push button release for easy cleaning. The seat feels sturdy non slip and has a gloss white finish. This seat is suitable for elongated style of toilet bowl. The fixings are covered by stainless steel covers so it looks neat and a nive replacement for my old one.

Fácil de instalar... fácil de limpiar.... pero sobretodo... la tapa es muy ligera....deje de oír los golpes de la tapa por las noches... es genial 😀

Tapa de plástico muy ligero justo en esos casos que no interesa que no pese. No encajaba con mi inodoro por la forma, lo devolví sin porblemas ya que solo verlo ya lo volví a poner en la caja
