Curity Gauze Pads

My husband is a dialysis patient and these sanitary guaze 2x2" wrapped individually helps him not get infected. I will be buying for him often. Thank you for making them.

I purchased these after running out of my hospital grade Johnson& Johnson 2x2 gauze sponge pads. I had used the Curity brand before, and after reading the reviews on some of the "off" brands, I was hesitant to try the other brands, but still wanted to try to purchase some that would save some money over the J&J. I thought that since Curity had been a brand that was okay in the past, it would be fine. I should have just shelled out the extra coin for the Johnson and Johnson. These were pretty disappointing. They are very thin, (see through thin), they unravel very easily, and if you are using them for covering a wound (which I was), you have to double or triple the pad to get the same amount of coverage that you get with one of the Johnson & Johnson sponge pads.Bottom line, if you're using them for wound care, do yourself a favor, and buy the Johnson & Johnson brand. You'll actually use fewer, and save money. Use these for industrial projects, or taking off nail polish, or cleaning, crafting, or whatever. Or, even for debriding small wounds. But, don't count on these for anything heavy duty. They won't hold up to heavy duty use.
