I prefer 400 series stainless to more common 304 for cooking implements because it is tougher. These appear to really be 400 series because they are magnetic and also rust resistant. These are big and tough and sharp. They remind me of sabers or epets. They are too big for shrimp but do well for other meats. Normally I think carrying cases for such things are silly; but these are quite sharp and it’sa nice useful addition to keep the point part at bay and keep them together and clean. Great product; will probably get another set as a gift.

The media could not be loaded. These are big and sturdy. It is very nice to be able to put a lot of food on each skewer and easily turn them without getting burned.You may need to cut certain items larger to use these. I do this with meat. Some items do not skewer well with these, particular if cut too small. I had difficulties with bell peppers and mushrooms.I think items would skewer easier if the tip were in the center instead of on one side. But these are fantastic for big chunks of meat. You could pack them full and not worry about them bending.And they clean easily on the top rack of my dishwasher.

The media could not be loaded. It's grill time!!! We recently ordered this set of the barbecue skewers. Everything came on time and right for the picnic we planned.Skewers are 22 inches long. When we cooked in the park it did not really matter as the grills there are small. I was more worried if it's the right size for out grill at home. It fit perfectly. The steel skewers are more convenient and sturdy to use than the wooden sticks. The best part, this set comes with the bag. I am glad that I can store it and not to worry about losing the pieces and of course it protects the sharp edges.
