NATURE PET Dog elbow bandage, Dog elbow brace for hygroma and callus

I bought this when my golden retriever had surgery to remove calluses, to stop him licking or chewing the wound. It is an excellent product and the dog was perfectly comfortable wearing it. It is sensible to remove it when the dog goes for a walk; I left it on and it did eventually tend to rub and caused a sore spot. The vet was happy that the bandage had done a good job of protecting the wound while it healed, but agreed with me that it would have been better to remove it when the dog was walking. The item was sent from Germany and arrived amazingly quickly - within a couple of days of ordering. The bandage is washable, and fully adjustable to fit the dog. It doesn't come apart in use and is very good quality. Subject to the warning about rubbing, I would recommend this product.

Too soon to say how effective this will be. It's very well made although a bit pricey. Great service as first one was too small and they emailed a returns label I received a refund within days. Think some instructions could be included to give guide on its use e.g. Length of time it should be worn etc.

I purchased this product because my 11 year old Old English Sheepdog developed pressure sores / bursitis on both front elbows which became infected and swelled very quickly and ruptured. They have taken months to heal, causing my poor dog pain and discomfort and £1600 in vets bills. Like an id person, the skin covering joints becomes very thin and despite having a comfy bed preferred the coolness of hard floors. I wish I'd been aware of the condition earlier and known about this product. Made of neoprene, it provides a protective later to the dogs elbows and is allowing them to heal further. Being neoprene they retain any heat and I would suggest the harness is taken off for walks to allow the skin to breathe. So far I am very impressed, the protector appears comfortable for the dog and doesn't bother her at all, and it is secure without being restrictive.I would recommend this prospects especially for owners of large breeds of dogs that likely lying on hard surfaces.

Thought this might offer some help in cushioning our G. Shepherds sore thump pads. However no matter which way round you use it (on my dog anyway), his elbow is not protected properly. Even if its as tight as you can get it round his back, after 5 mins of walking round its halfway down his leg, leaving his thump pad (Callous) exposed. We also watched all the product Videos and so am sure we are doing it correctly.Also if you want to add any padding to the integral pockets, the problem gets worse.Our dog is a long haired G shepherd, and his fur just gets caught up in the Velcro which doesn't help when he is walking about. (no body likes getting their hair pulled.)It might work on a smaller dog, But isn't working on a 45Kg Alsatian.Basically we have a £50 Velcro fur catcher.T

Dog removed it within minutes. For the price not very good quality. Not very well padded on the elbows which we needed to protect. We made something up ourselves with a sock and he has not been able to remove it at all and elbows now improving.

Very impressed with these elbow protectors. They are well made and fully adjustable to fit your dog. The shoulder strap was slightly too short for our colllie. I contacted the seller and she kindly made one to my measurements and sent it to our dog as a xmas present !!If your dog has any kind of shoulder problem requiring padding I thoroughly recomend these.

Received before the designated delivery date.Purchased to cover an elbow operation which my collie kept licking,didnt want him to run around with a funnel over his head 24/7.The protector worked perfectly that is until he found a way to undo the velcro straps so to keep one step ahead we cut a small length of sleeve type bandage,just enough to cover the straps.Since then no problem.Must admit the dog is happier.

As i was in a rush for the bandage they shipped the same day as I placed the order. They checked to make sure it arrived and was suitable for my dog. I'm glad that I read the reviews as I was going to order XL but large was the right size for my Alaskan Malamute cross Labrador and it fits perfectly.

La uso per l'artrite che ha il mio cane e va benissimo. Gliela faccio indossare soltanto quando usciamo, non per la casa e l'aiuta molto.

Mon chien étant entamé au niveau des coudes des pattes avant j'ai voulu lui mettre une protection et la faire tenir avec sun cals tampons mais ce n'était pas assez souple au niveau de l'articulation, ce qui eut comme effet de figer le chien qui marchait comme un robot, aussi n'ai je pas utilisé l'article.
